Surf. Meet. Compete. The club runs a competition once a month at Trigg Beach (near the Surfing WA office) with 2 competitions a year being away.
Trigg Junior Board Riders is the largest junior surf boardriders club in Western Australia and consists of boys and girls ranging in age from 8- 17 years. These competitions are usually the highlight of the year with 1 being held at Yallingup in WA's south west region and the other being held at Lancelin to the north of Perth. Beach Marshal – Volunteers Required!
We’re looking for volunteers to help as Beach Marshals during the event.
Role includes:
- Handing out competition rashies to competitors.
- Ensuring groms have entered the water before their heat begins.
- This role does not involve tracking down competitors who are missing from the beach. We simply need to ensure we can safely account for the number of groms in the water at any given time.
No qualifications or previous experience are required — just a willingness to help.
This role can easily be shared between a number of volunteers, so the more people who can lend a hand, the better.

Judging Reminder: All groms (aged 12+) are required to judge a minimum of 4 heats throughout the day.
