PADDLE OUT FOR MARK LANE
 
This Saturday, August 29, we’ll come together at Scarborough Beach to celebrate the life of our CEO, colleague, mentor and friend, Mark “Laney” Lane after his recent passing.
 
Laney’s family, friends and the surfing community are invited to gather at Sunset Hill from 8am, before paddling out together in his memory.
 
Laney dedicated more than two decades to surfing, with his contribution and influence felt across WA, Australia and around the world. His passion, leadership and genuine care for the sport and its people will leave a lasting legacy.
 
Our love, thoughts and deepest condolences are with Mark’s family, loved ones and friends.

Times: 6:30am setup (18 & Under Boys and U14 Boys). 7:30am first heat.
LiveHeats: draw to be published on Friday evening.

We understand that family life is busy and that many groms are involved in multiple activities. However, please be mindful that Trigg Junior Boardriders competition days are planned around the number of surfers registered to compete.

Heats are seeded based on rankings and scores, and when competitors leave early (for example, to attend other sporting commitments), it can significantly impact the draw and disrupt the smooth running of the event on LiveHeats.

If your child is registered to compete, we ask that they commit to the full competition day wherever possible. This helps ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all competitors and allows the event to run efficiently.

Please also note that competitors who do not show up on the day will not be awarded any ranking points.
