Action for the jarrah forest:
Deadline tomorrow Wednesday, 17 June 2026 for public to object to Environment Minister re latest proposal on mining;
State Government proposes new exemption to enable Alcoa to continue mining operations in the Northern Jarrah Forest, including within drinking water Reservoir Protection Zones, with minimal constraints - while EPA is still assessing the impact of Alcoa’s current operations and despite suspected breaches of an existing exemption order in recent months.
