We are so proud of every one of our aerialists. Your hard work, courage and growth have been amazing to watch, but what made us proudest was the way you supported, encouraged and celebrated each other every step of the way. That is what our Dance Fusion family is all about.
A huge thank you to our wonderful teachers for their dedication, and to our amazing dance parents for all the time, support and love you give behind the scenes.

We made it 🥳 Term 2… you were one for the books.
So many goals smashed. So many milestones reached. So many laughs, high-fives, happy tears and memories made along the way.
We’re so proud of the big impact we’ve already made in the first half of the year!
Now it’s time to enjoy a well-earned break, recharge, and then get ready…we have even bigger plans to get us to the end of the season….watch this space 💜💜💜
Watching old dance concerts together is so wholesome 💜💜💜
We’re so fortunate to have so many ‘lifers’ at our studio. Those who have been with us for 10+ years….watching them back then is so fun! Being part of their dance journey and seeing them grow from little people through to young adults (& parents) is such a privilege. Thank you for choosing us over and over again, and for being the best role models to to the next generation.

This term, our conditioning classes have been focused on one of the trickiest skills in dance — turns.
While dancers are busy spinning (or holding their breath and wishing), we’re busy building the foundations that make those turns possible.
Strong alignment. Single-leg strength. Learning how to switch on the core (and not just the abs!). Quick reactions through the head and turning arm. We even discuss the physics and anatomy behind staying balanced and finishing in control.
The best part? We’re seeing the results. Stronger dancers, more confidence, and those clean finishes at the end of a turn are the cherry on top. 🍒
These programs work because they’re not based on guesswork. They’re grounded in dance science and designed specifically for dancers, helping students build strength, control, and skills that transfer directly into the studio.
The hard work is paying off! 💜

Last night, we were honoured to be named WA Youth Fitness Program of the Year at the Health & Fitness Awards
We are incredibly proud to put dance on the map and have the work we do recognised with such distinction within the health and fitness industry.
At Dance Fusion, our classes are led by industry dance professionals and underpinned by the expertise of sports scientists, exercise physiologists & Physios who understand the body, its capabilities, and how to safely implement evidence-based conditioning programs that support long-term development.
To stand alongside some of Western Australia’s most respected health and fitness organisations — and to be recognised amongst them — is something our team is immensely proud of.
It represents years of university study, professional development, research, innovation, and a shared belief that dance training can be both exceptional and scientifically informed.
We are incredibly proud of our team, our students, and the community that continues to support our vision.

Honoured to be recognised as finalists for the 2026 WA Youth Fitness Program of the Year.
As a dance studio, this one feels incredibly special — because it recognises the impact dance can make within the health and fitness industry when training is led safely, scientifically, and with children’s long-term wellbeing at the centre.
After years of study, professional development, research, and merging our love of dance with sports science, biomechanics, exercise physiology and evidence-based training… this recognition means so much to our team.
We are incredibly proud of the environment we’ve built together and the standard we continue to advocate for within the dance industry.
Next Saturday, our whole team will be there to celebrate together — and we couldn’t be prouder.
Behind the jokes, there’s a real conversation many small businesses are having right now.
Rising wages, superannuation, insurance, rent, utilities, compliance costs, GST and ongoing legal obligations are making it harder than ever for small businesses to stay afloat — especially community-based businesses like dance studios.
