NPL-WA Round 22 results and table
Bayswater City are officially the 2026 NPL-WA champions, securing back-to-back titles after a 2-0 victory over Perth Glory in the final round of the season. From everyone at footballwa.net, congratulations Bayswater!
The championship is Bayswater's sixth league title, adding to their triumphs in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2025. The Black and Blues now move level with Stirling Macedonia for second on the all-time list of WA champions.
Perth Azzurri sealed their place in the Top Four Cup with a 3-1 victory over Sorrento at Dorrien Gardens. Fremantle City narrowly missed out despite ending the season with a 1-0 away win over Olympic Kingsway, who finished runners-up for the second consecutive year.
At the foot of the table, Balcatta Etna's 17-year stay in the top flight came to an end after a 2-0 defeat to Dianella White Eagles, with the win confirming Dianella's survival.
Armadale must now navigate the relegation play-offs if they are to preserve their place in the NPL-WA, a position they have held since 2005, after suffering a 4-0 home defeat to Perth Perth RedStar, who finished third.
In the final match of the round, Stirling Macedonia ended their campaign on a high with a 3-1 victory over Western Knights at Macedonia Park.
With the league season complete, attention now turns to the finals, which begin in two weeks following next Saturday's Cup Final.
In the Top Four Cup Major Semi-Final, Bayswater City will host Olympic Kingsway at Frank Drago Reserve, while Perth RedStar will take on Perth Azzurri in the Minor Semi-Final.
In the promotion and relegation play-offs, Armadale will face State League Division One side Joondalup City in the semi-finals over two legs with the winners taking on either UWA-Nedlands FC or Mandurah City for a place in the 2027 NPL-WA.
