Just like learning your ABCs, DRSABCD is something worth knowing!
The DRSABCD Action Plan is an acronym you can use when someone is unresponsive, not breathing or drowning. It's the kind of thing you hope you never need, but will be glad you know.
Save this post and keep it in your back pocket. In an emergency, knowing where to start can make all the difference.

Don’t let a flooded road catch you out! 🌧️🚗
It might not look deep, but looks can be deceiving. Just 15cm of moving water can knock out your engine and around 30cm is enough to float a car 😳
If the road is flooded, don’t risk it. Turn around and find another way. It’s not worth your safety or your life!

Water can go from fun to dangerous in seconds and it’s easy to get caught off guard if you don’t know what to do!
If something goes wrong, stay calm and follow the 4As of rescue. Your safety comes first, so avoid putting yourself in danger while trying to help.
Call 000 straight away, even if things seem fine after. It is always better to have help on the way than wish you called sooner.

Cliff jumping might look epic on camera but it can go wrong fast 🎥🌊
If you’re somewhere new, don’t assume it’s deep enough. Shallow water, rocks and changing conditions can turn a fun jump into a bad day 😬
Find out the depth first and check in with locals to make sure you're not diving into a sandbank directly on camera 👀 If you’re not 100% sure, give it a miss—no post is worth a permanent injury!

Happy M8 Day 💛
Good mates don’t let their friends take stupid risks.
Swimming alone is never the go. Remember to always bring someone you can trust to speak up if something feels off, and don’t just go along with it if it doesn’t feel right.
👉 Tag a mate who’ll tell you you’re being a du***ss to your face, they're the real ones.
