Introducing the VANGUARD SUMMER ACADEMY 2027.

Eight days dedicated to training, creating and performing alongside an exceptional faculty of leading choreographers, teachers and industry professionals.

Five days of intensive training.
A weekend of rehearsals and production.
Two live performances at The Rechabite.

This is more than a week of classes.

It’s an opportunity to push further. To work differently. To collaborate with likeminded artists. To create something from the ground up - and ultimately, bring it to the stage.

Open to Vanguard students and performers from all studios and training environments.

With all this Logies talk let’s “MEET DANI” - we’re throwing it back down memory lane to one of our Studio Owners’ most memorable gigs - dancing at the Logies for Flo Rida in Melbourne, under the direction of The Squared Division.

For those who don’t know our Director, in 2009, Dani made the bold move to Sydney. Back then, it wasn’t common for a WA dancer to head east and try to crack the commercial scene but she was committed. Over seven years in Sydney, she worked on incredible jobs under the guidance of Jeep Management, building connections she’s not only maintained but strengthened over time.

Today, those very connections are woven into her Performing Arts School, giving her students direct access to industry mentors and training that’s current & properly guided for this field. As one of the only studio owners in Perth who has lived, experienced, and worked in the commercial dance world, Dani offers something unique at Vanguard.

Dani has made herself exclusive to her students over the past twelve years and has been a major backbone for many WA/Vanguard dancers who have broken into the field.

Beyond her credits and connections, what truly sets Dani apart is her commitment to uplifting others. She’s commonly known for suggesting and connecting people within our field, whether that’s staff, students, or fellow industry professionals. For Dani, success isn’t just about what you achieve; it’s about who you bring with you and who you help elevate along the way.
