Not Yet Perfect

HURRY OR HUMILITY

There is humility in the pause.

It says, "Despite all I know and all the knowledge I've acquired, I choose to stop. I choose to breathe. I choose to observe. I choose to take inventory."

There is a vast world beyond me—beautiful people to meet, experiences to have, and wisdom still to discover. I choose to welcome it, contribute to it, and remain humbly and fully myself.

There is discomfort in not being where everyone else is.

But there is an even greater discomfort in dislocating your will, your soul, and your personality just to appease others and fit in.

If you have to contort yourself into someone you're not to be accepted, are those people truly worth pleasing? And are you loving yourself well?

THE PRISON OF PERFECTION

Come into alignment.

There is no perfection in us, and that's okay. The moment we begin striving for perfection is the moment we step into its prison.

Perfection keeps us on a hamster wheel, endlessly chasing something we'll never reach. You'll never attain it. You'll never become it.

So let go. Be. Accept yourself. Embrace yourself exactly as you are. Not Yet Perfect
