One day, you’ll meet the oldest version of yourself.
Maybe she’s 75.
Maybe she’s 85.
Maybe she’s 95.
The decisions you’re making today are shaping the life she’s going to live.
We spend so much time exercising to lose weight, fit into old clothes, or chase a number on the scales...
But what if we started exercising for something much bigger?
To stay independent.
To carry our own shopping.
To get up off the floor with ease.
To travel.
To play with our grandkids.
To live longer and keep doing the things we love for as long as possible.
Every workout isn’t just about today.
It’s a deposit into your future.
So here’s a question worth thinking about...
What are you doing today that your 85 year old self will thank you for
Hint: It probably not endlessly obsessing about the number on the scales!

It’s time to celebrate another amazing member of our BMB family….Mel (or Melro as she’s known at BMB)! 🖤🩷
Some people achieve results because they have a burst of motivation. Others achieve them because they build habits that stand the test of time.
Melro is definitely the second.
She has shown up consistently, put in the work, and trusted the process year after year.
There has never been a need for shortcuts or quick fixes because she understands that lasting results come from simply doing the work, over and over again.
For four years straight, Melro has hit 1300 Myzone Effort Points every single month, earning her place in the Myzone Hall of Fame.
That achievement is impressive on its own, but it’s also reflected in the person she has become.
This inspiring woman has become incredibly fit and incredibly strong, with physical results speaking clearly to the consistency she has maintained over time.
If you scroll across to the next photo, you’ll see just how incredible that journey has been. Her transformation is a powerful reminder that amazing results don’t happen overnight.
They are built one session, one workout, and one good decision at a time.
We are so proud of everything you’ve achieved, Melro, and so grateful to have you as part of the Body MBrace family.
Your Hall of Fame status is an incredible achievement, but the transformation you’ve created through your consistency is just as inspiring. You are living proof that when you commit to yourself and trust the process, amazing things happen. 🖤🩷

WHAT IS REALLY STOPPING YOU?
Take a good look.
Not at your body. Not at what you wish looked different. Look at the person making the decisions.
Because if we’re going to cut the excuses, this is where the conversation starts.
Yes, life is busy. Yes, winter makes it harder.
Yes, kids get sick, work gets hectic and motivation comes and goes.
Nobody is denying that.
But after all of that...
You still decide.
You decide whether you hit snooze. You decide whether you move your workout to tomorrow. You decide whether takeaway is easier than cooking. You decide whether your health stays on the bottom of the list.
The truth is, most people aren’t waiting for the perfect time.
They’re waiting to feel like it.
That feeling rarely comes.
Discipline isn’t about having an easy life.
It’s about making better decisions, even when life isn’t easy.
So if you’ve been telling yourself you’ll get back into it “next week”...
Look in the mirror.
The person staring back at you is also the person who can change everything.
Nobody else can do it for you.
Today is a good day to get your act together.

Somewhere along the way, we’ve forgotten why we exercise.
Scroll through social media and you’d be forgiven for thinking that health and fitness is all about six packs, tiny waists, glute transformations, fat-loss challenges, and a 1 rep max deadlift.
And while it’s completely okay to want to feel confident in your appearance (most of us do), that was never meant to be the ONLY reason we move our bodies.
Exercise helps us build strength for everyday life. It improves our heart health, bone density, energy levels, mobility, sleep, mental health, confidence, and quality of life.
It helps us keep up with our kids.
It helps us stay independent as we age.
It helps us feel capable.
The reality is that many of the people you see online promoting fitness probably spend plenty of time doing the less glamorous stuff too. Walking. Cycling. Resistance training. Mobility work. Looking after their health.
The difference is that a video of someone quietly improving their cardiovascular fitness on a bike doesn’t attract the same attention as a dramatic transformation photo.
So that’s what gets posted.
But what gets posted isn’t always what matters most.
The social media fitness space has done an incredible job of selling us bigger glutes, smaller waists and lifting the heaviest deadlift possible. Because that’s what sells!
It hasn’t done nearly as good a job of selling the benefits that actually matter most: a healthier heart, stronger muscles and bones, better mental health, more energy, greater independence as we age, and a longer, healthier life.
Somewhere along the way, we’ve confused looking healthy with being healthy.
At Body MBrace, we’ll always celebrate the wins that can’t be captured in a photo.
The bloke who no longer gets out of breath walking up stairs.
The member whose blood pressure has improved and no longer needs to be medicated.
The mum who has more energy at the end of the day.
The person who feels stronger, healthier and more confident than they did six months ago.
Because fitness is about so much more than how you look.
Your body is the bonus.
Your health is the goal.

LET’S TALK ABOUT... CELLULITE! 😮
READ!
Is this one of the hottest topics of all? We feel this needs to be addressed in the most simplistic terms!
Here are 5 facts and 5 myths about cellulite in a simple, clear way:
✅ 5 Facts about cellulite
👌Very common
Most women will have some degree of cellulite after puberty, regardless of body size or fitness level.
👌Completely harmless
Cellulite is not a medical condition and does not affect your health.
👌Caused by fat + connective tissue structure
It happens when fat pushes against the skin while connective tissue tethers it down, creating a dimpled look.
👌Hormones play a role
Oestrogen influences fat distribution and connective tissue strength, which is why it’s more common in women.
👌You can reduce appearance, not “eliminate” it completely
Strength training, improved muscle tone, and body composition changes can reduce how visible it is, but it rarely disappears entirely!!
❌ 5 Myths about cellulite
🚫 “Only overweight people have cellulite”
False. Very lean people can have cellulite too.
🚫“It means you’re unhealthy”
False. Cellulite is not linked to poor health or fitness levels.
🚫“Creams and treatments can permanently get rid of it”
False. Many treatments may temporarily improve appearance, but none reliably remove it long-term.
🚫“Cellulite is caused by toxins”
False. There is no scientific evidence that toxins cause cellulite.
🚫“Exercise will completely remove cellulite”
False. Exercise can help reduce its appearance, but it won’t fully eliminate it due to underlying connective tissue structure.
