Perth has a new steak sandwich champion! 🏆 Congratulations to The Last Local, Canning Vale, which has claimed the Perth metro title in the 2026 AHA & Little Creatures WA's Best Steak Sandwich competition.
Chef Mickey Phull served up a crowd-pleaser loaded with Scotch fillet, crunchy onions, smoky aioli, rocket, tomato and melted cheese on toasted sourdough, alongside chips. Then came the game changer... maple candied bacon and deep-fried Camembert. 🤤
The judges loved its unbeatable fangability, helping it bite its way to the top in a fiercely contested final.
Congratulations to The Last Local and all of this year's outstanding finalists for proving once again that WA pubs know how to build an incredible steak sandwich! 👏🍻
