Leadership development doesn't need to be complicated.
Ask yourself three questions:

What's working?
What's still hard?
What's next?

Your answers will usually tell you exactly where to focus.

The pressure isn't usually the problem.
The decision made under pressure often is.
Try a 60-second pause.

Identify the risk.
Separate fact from assumption.
Choose the simplest action that reduces risk.

Then explain the decision.
What part is hardest when time is short?

I've been asking WA safety managers one question.
