Who remembers when we let the Demon šŸ‘¹ out of the Mistress? Safe to say she’s been pretty good since this happened so maybe it really was in there stirring troublešŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤ž

And we’re at it again! Getting the new heart for Mistreated back together. It’s been a long couple of days measuring and checking everything but it’s coming together now. Thanks once again to Dad for his help it’s always a pleasure when I get to work with him again doing what we love!

Bit of work tidying up Mistreated’s engine bay. Another visit to the machine shop tomorrow to check on progress of the motor. Getting keen to get her back together now for the upcoming season. I will be pulling back a bit more this season and giving James some more seat time but will still run the bigger comps.

Hey guys I know it’s been a while but with the wet weather and one busted and unhappy Mistreated there’s not much happening. Mistress is tucked up in bed waiting for some warmer weather. Hopefully be taking here to Collie in September for their comp.

Here’s some work we’ve been doing on Mistreated’s engine bay. For ages I’ve hated the shiny bit of tin on the passengers side so while the engine is out and getting fixed up I thought I’d have a crack at making it look a bit better.

This is not the result we wanted from the new motor. Looks like the oil filter failed and blocked off the return which caused the loss of oil pressure in Mistreated. Guess it’s time to try again. The crank should clean up ok so should be able replace bearings and rebuildšŸ¤žafter a good clean out
