Movement isn’t a cure, but it is powerful. Regular exercise has been shown to help reduce symptoms of depression by:
• supporting mood regulating brain chemicals (like endorphins and serotonin)
• lowering stress hormones
• improving sleep quality
• creating structure and routine
• giving a sense of achievement and control
And sometimes, the hardest part isn’t the workout, it’s starting.
At SETS, we don’t expect perfection. We just encourage consistency, in whatever form that looks like for you 🩵

Halfway through the year already… and what a 6 months it’s been at SETS.
From early mornings to late finishes, new faces walking through the doors, personal bests being smashed and kilometres clocked. It all adds up to something bigger than training.
It’s the consistency. The energy. The people who show up even when they don’t feel like it. That’s what makes this place what it is.
We’re only halfway. There’s still so much more to come!
The coaching provides the blueprint.
The team makes it happen.

Join us in class next Sunday June 14th in celebrating Connor as he takes the next step in his journey and moves interstate at the end of the month. We will celebrate with a Sets community coffee after the workout on Sunday, our last one with coach Connor 🙏
Connor has been an incredibly valued member of the SETS team, and we’re so grateful for everything he has contributed during his time with us. From the day he started to now, it’s been amazing to watch his growth—not only as a coach, but as a person.
He has truly come into his own, building great relationships with our members, bringing huge passion, knowledge and attention to detail in every session, and becoming an important part of the culture that makes our community so special.
While we’re sad to see him go, we’re incredibly excited for what lies ahead and know he’ll do great things in this next chapter.
Be sure to wish Connor all the best when you see him in the gym over the coming weeks. We’re proud of you, mate, and can’t wait to see what the future holds. 👏🩵
