🏗️ Keirnan Park Stage 1A continues to make strong progress, with major civil and pavilion works advancing across the site.

During the latest reporting period, turf sand placement and grading continued across the sporting ovals, while earthworks progressed for the rain gardens and leach drain. Formwork and reinforcement for the irrigation tank ring beam were completed, along with further preparation for the cricket facilities and water-management infrastructure.

Construction of the pavilion also moved forward, with Stage A blockwork reaching approximately 90% completion, structural steel installation progressing in Zone B and electrical and plumbing works commencing in the Zone C kitchen area.

Over the coming weeks, works will continue across the ovals, rain gardens, drainage infrastructure and pavilion. This will include further blockwork, completion of structural steel installation, mechanical ductwork, retaining wall construction and ongoing preparation of the cricket facilities.

The Shire acknowledges the WA Government for its support of the project through the PlayOn WA initiative, helping deliver modern sporting and recreation facilities for our growing community.

The new oval at Harrisdale Primary School is ready to go!

It’s great to see the space finished and ready for students to enjoy for years to come. We hope they have plenty of fun out there!

We recently wrapped up the Early Childhood Playground Upgrade at Meadow Springs South Primary School for Programmed Facility Management, delivering a fresh new play space with new equipment, water play, flower talk tubes and more.

A fun and engaging space for the students to enjoy for years to come!

We’re incredibly proud of our team member Joe, who took on the HBF Run for a Reason last weekend for a cause close to his heart.
In just 7 weeks, Joe went from never having run before to completing 21km - all to raise money for cancer research and support. His goal was to raise $2,000, and thanks to the amazing support from friends, family, and the community, he smashed it by raising an incredible $2,839.
Joe’s reason for running says it all:
“My name is Joe, and I’m going from 0 to 21km in 7 weeks, having never run before, to raise money for cancer. I’m doing this for my mate who’s just been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and for everyone else affected by it. Every step is for them.”
An amazing effort for an important cause. Well done, Joe! Your determination, heart, and commitment are something we’re all proud of. 👏

How good is Wanneroo Senior Highschool looking?! We are proud to have completed this landscaping for the school and we are keeping up the maintenance during the holidays to ensure it’s spot on for when everyone returns.
