Cheers to everyone who waited for me to finish at Enduro State Champs. Here's the 3 minute version of how my day went.
Overall: SO GOOD! One slight off line impact with a rock that I didn't notice at all (on stage #4...which I won) triggered a series of bike destruction. The loose rotor bolts and spokes are not shown here.
3rd place for 40s men in the end. Happy with that! taken out by the easy stage??
A pump under the top tube full of tools is a magical thing. Many legends out there making sure I got through too, and kept the vibes high all weekend long. The Sight knows how to keep on trucking, and I will always race with tyre inserts (my second flat tyre podium this year).
Most of practice day was spent running coaching sessions, so I'm keen to find out how everyone else went. And on to Dwellingup to do it all again in a few weeks 😎

A spectacular weekend of riding at Round 4 of WA Gravity Enduro in Geraldton. The raw and rugged trails of Echidna Park never fail to deliver the excitement, and the perfect weather and awesome crew made for an epic weekend.
Practice day was chock full of coaching, with our shredders getting their lines and tactics dialled in. The team was busy ticking off challenges and conquering demons. (A big shout out to Louise Turner for showing the Stage 3 ladder whose boss!)
Race day brought the challenge. Especially for Rohan having to struggle through multiple unlucky mechanicals, riding a stage with a flat tyre and scraping in just minutes before cut off. Yet somehow still managing to scrape in a third place podium!
