Over the years many champions have started their careers with the Victoria Park Raiders and then gone on to play both WAFL and AFL football.

We always take great pride in the support and dedication of our numerous volunteers and family members. In the spirit of reconciliation the Victoria Park Raiders JFC acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We acknowledge the Wadjuk people of the Noongar Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we play

Their season started off bumpy, but there was a collective sigh of relief when the girls finally got to sing their song in Round 3.

After an unexpected bye, regrading and a few more losses, they hit the road in Round 6 and suffered another defeat. But this loss felt different. The girls showed promise, cohesion and plenty of fight.

Then came Round 7. A convincing win at home. The next week, another. Then another.

Fast forward to Round 13 and suddenly they had six straight wins under their belt. Back at home and ready to keep the streak alive, it just wasn’t their night. But this group had already shown that one loss wasn’t going to define them.

They hit the road again the following week, fought their way back and got the win they needed.

It hasn’t been smooth sailing, and maybe that’s what makes this achievement even more special. Week in, week out, these girls have turned up for their Coach and, most importantly, for each other. They stuck together through the losses, celebrated the wins and kept believing there was always another opportunity waiting the following week.

And now, after everything this season has thrown at them, they’ve earned the opportunity to do it on an even bigger stage this weekend in their Qualifying Final.

Good Luck Girls! We are so proud of you!

A huge congratulations to Farley Neill from our Year 11/12 Team on reaching the incredible milestone of 100 games for the Raiders!

Having pulled on the Raiders colours since Auskick, Farley’s 100-game milestone is a wonderful reflection of his loyalty, dedication and love for footy and our club. It’s been a pleasure to watch him grow through the junior ranks, and this achievement is one we are incredibly proud of.

Congratulations Mate!

Let’s all get down to Higgins Park and get around Farley as he celebrates this special milestone and send off our Year 12’s as they play their last game for the Raiders!

As our Youth Teams prepare for their last round this weekend before we head into Finals, we would like to acknowledge a very special group, our 2026 - Year 12 Leavers.

For some of you, this weekend will mark the end of your Junior Football Journey with the Vic Park Raiders, but the impact you’ve made will stay with our Club for years to come.

You’ve built friendships that will last a lifetime, led with courage, and set a great example for the younger Raiders coming through.

On behalf of the Raiders Family, we thank you for everything you’ve given to our Club.

We wish you every success as you take your next steps, whether that’s in football, study, work, or life beyond the field.

Wherever the future takes you, always remember that you will always be “Forever a Raider”

Our girls kicked things off on Friday night and continued their surge towards finals, with our Year 7/8, 9/10 and 11/12 Girls all looking to secure their place in the finals. How good is that for girls’ footy! We’re so proud to see our girls continuing to grow, compete and represent our club each week.

The heavens opened up on Saturday, making for some very wet and muddy football and reminding us all that footy is a Winter sport! Despite the conditions, it was great to see our Mods teams getting out there and giving it their all.

Our Youth teams then rounded out the weekend on Sunday as we head towards the pointy end of the season, with plenty still to play for.

A huge congratulations again to Asha Pougher, Charlotte Hammond and Summah Fitzpatrick from our Year 9/10 Girls, who all celebrated their 50th game, and to Louis Kelly from our Year 10s on reaching the incredible milestone of 100 games. What fantastic achievements and a great reflection of the commitment these players have shown.

Round 12 is here, and we’re into the business end of the season!

With just a couple of home and away rounds remaining, every game is an important one as our Youth teams continue their push towards finals, while our Auskick and Modified players enjoy making the most of every opportunity to get out on the field.

To all of our players, play hard, support your teammates, respect your coaches, umpires and opponents, and most importantly, have fun. We have loved seeing the growth, teamwork and sportsmanship our Raiders show every weekend.

Good luck to every Raider pulling on the jumper this weekend. Play with pride, back each other in, and good luck!

Only two rounds remain in the regular season before finals begin!

Our girls are all pushing to secure their spots on the ladder and head into the finals with plenty of momentum, while our boys will be giving it everything they’ve got over the next two weeks to keep their finals hopes alive.

Let’s get behind all of our players as they finish the home and away season strong.

Enjoy these final couple of rounds, support your teammates, and good luck to all of girls and boys as they chase their finals campaigns.

A huge congratulations to Oscar Parnell from our Year 10 team, who celebrated his 100th game over the weekend!

Reaching 100 games is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of Oscar’s dedication, commitment and love for the game.

The boys made sure they got around Oscar to celebrate the milestone in style, finishing the day with a convincing win to make it even more memorable.

Congratulations, Oscar, on an incredible achievement.
