BRYCEY IN ANOTHER GREAT BOUT LAST NIGHT

Great performance by Bryce last night in a very entertaining fight from start to finish against a great opponent.. Unfortunately Brycey went down in a close split decision loss.. Chin up mate you boxed very well!
Well done to his opponent on the win, I’m sure another bout will be on the cards in the future 🥊
As always a massive thanks to Coach Carter & Rinto.. Along with everyone who came down to support the club..
All focus is now for 3 weeks time as we have a mountain number of people boxing on the Golden, Silver & Bronze gloves.. All from schoolboys, Juniors, youths, seniors, elites and the old fossil masters too!

Outside for the crew for an early morning team ski challenge for the first time in a while this morning…

Awesome camaraderie shown by both teams, with Team Djafar just edging out Team Grehan in a close one!

2 WINS FROM 4 LAST NIGHT

Well done last night by the boys last night!

First up for us was young Moey in a good bout against a nice little boxer, Moey unfortunately lost a close split decision.. great performance though mate, im sure you will both box each other again in the near future!

2nd up was Yusuf against a game opponent that came out swinging.. After a close first round Yusuf let some lovely combinations go and landed a nice shot that dropped his opponent.. not long after that landed another punch that led to the referee stopping the fight in the second round… Well done mate!

3rd up for us was Ayyub in his first ever bout.. He was up against a nice crisp boxer.. Ayyub boxed great for his first bout showing a great work rate and landed some nice punches through the fight but unfortunately it wasn't enough taking the decision loss.. well done mate, the first one is out the way now so let’s keep it going!

Up last for us was Brycey against a tidy boxer.. The first round was a real chess match with both boys landing some nice punches.. Then halfway through the second round Bryce got a nasty cut on top of the head from a accidental head clash.. The cut seemed to spur both lads on and they started letting there hands go.. Both boys landed some great punches till the final bell in a close decision which went to Bryce in a split decision victory in what was a great fight , which left Brycey with a nice cut stapled all up… well done mate, very well deserved 🥊

Thanks as always to our head Coach Carter and the amazing support crew we had come down and support the club!

Today marks the 6th year of the gym from when the doors were open back on the 20th July 2020!

We’ve created some great memories to date at the gym & want to thank everyone of you members, past and present for helping create the gym into such a great family environment.

Here’s to many more years ahead!

No win unfortunately for young Lokman today, but you should hold your head up high young man… a bright future ahead for you even if today wasn’t your day! You’ve progressed so far this last year under coach Carter so be proud of yourself mate!

Up next this afternoon was Big brother Hasan against a good opponent from Victoria.. Unfortunately no win for HASSY either today as his opponent took the victory.. Hold your head up high mate, first year in the youth age bracket in a very strong division this year! Hasan will be back as it’s all part of the Journey!

Massive thanks and well done must go to our head coach Carter, who got the boys ready for the nationals and put in so much of his time to have the lads ready! Enjoy a beer and a few days rest mate🥊

UPDATE FROM BRISBANE

The official draw was done yesterday, with both Hasan & Lokman drawn into quarter finals which are tomorrow! Both boys are boxing against opponents from Victoria..

Lokman is first up out of the boys in the first session of the day which starts at 9am Perth time and he is bout #9

Hasan is on in session 2 of the day which starts at 2pm Perth time and he is bout #5

Absolutely go for it tomorrow boys 🥊
