🏁 WELCOME TO TOWNSVILLE for Rd3 of the Australian Kart Championship 🏁
The countdown is on and the place is already buzzing!

Setup day was in full swing today, the facility is looking fantastic, and we reckon there’s already been a few hundred track walks done… with a few more β€œjust one more lap to check the kerb” walks still to come. πŸ˜†

A massive thank you to all the volunteers who have been working hard behind the scenes to get everything looking sharp and ready to go. The effort that goes into preparing an event like this is huge, and it definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. πŸ‘

And how good is this Townsville winter weather shaping up?

🏁Strong Saturday at Australian Kart Masters!🏁

We wrapped up Saturday with some fantastic results across the board.

πŸ”₯ Tim Davis was outstanding in KA3 Heavy, securing Pole Position and taking victory in all heat races, showing incredible pace and consistency throughout the day.

In TaG Restricted Heavy, Tim continued his strong form, qualifying P2 and finishing the heats with two 2nd-place and one 3rd-place finish.
A brilliant effort!

πŸ‘ Brad Rees also delivered a solid performance in TaG Restricted Light, continuing his impressive development.
Starting from P11 in qualifying, Brad fought hard in every race and brought home top-10 finishes in all heats.

A great day for the team, with plenty to be proud of and everything to play for tomorrow.

πŸ’ͺ🏁 Let’s keep the momentum going!

Emily Hamer absolutely dominated the Cadet 12 category, becoming the
Queen of the Hill 2026 πŸ‘‘

Another great race weekend for Alfie Hamer in Cadet 9, finishing on the podium in P3 πŸ₯‰

Solid weekend as well for Jeremy Guadagnino in Restricted Masters, showing great improvements throughout the event πŸ‘πŸ»
Unfortunately, a DNF in the final stopped him from getting the result he deserved.

Amazing job in Restricted Medium from John-Paul Vosloo finishing in P4, and James Campbell securing P7 πŸ‘

Proud of the whole team and looking forward to the next round! πŸ’ͺ🏎️

🏁 ROUND 2 AKC 🏁

A positive weekend for AK Racing Team at Round 2 of the Australian Kart Championship at IPSWICH KART CLUB!

Despite a few issues throughout the race weekend, our drivers showed great determination, improvement, and strong performances on track. πŸ’ͺπŸ”₯

Gianluca Auriemma – KZ2
A solid performance, finishing the final in P6, while maintaining the championship lead and extending the gap to second place. πŸ‘πŸ»

Alfie Hamer– Cadet 9
In his first ever AKC race, Alfie showed great potential and consistent improvement throughout the weekend.
Unfortunately, engine issues affected the final, with a finish in P25 out of 31 drivers. The future looks bright! πŸš€

Emily Hamer– Cadet 12
Emily also showed strong pace and determination throughout the weekend.
Despite a DNF in Heat 1 caused by a racing incident, she still managed to qualify P40 for the final out of 60 drivers.
In the final, Emily finished in P32, showing great improvement throughout the event. πŸ‘Š

Now our focus shifts to the next round, ready to keep pushing and improving even more! πŸ”₯

A huge thank you to all our sponsors for their continuous support and to everyone who supports the team every race weekend. β€οΈπŸ€πŸ’š
