When the golf ball sits above your feet, the ball will naturally fly to the left (for a right-handed golfer).
Because the ground slopes upward, the clubface tilts to the left at address, which causes the ball to hook or draw.
The hill also pushes your weight back onto your heels, making a standard swing difficult.
The Setup Adjustments Grip down on the club: Slide your hands down the handle This makes the club shorter to match the hill
Stand taller: Do not bend your knees too much Keep your posture upright - Lean forward: Put your weight slightly on your toes This stops you from falling backward during the swing - Aim to the right: Face your body and clubface right of the target to look after the natural left curve.
The Swing Strategy - Take more club:
Gripping down reduces your distance, so choose one club extra (e.g., use a 7-iron instead of an 8-iron) and Swing smoothly:
Swing at about three-quarter speed to stay balanced Follow the slope: Make a flatter, more baseball-like swing around your body.

Most of my teaching focuses on the zone from impact to the low point which is 5 centermeters forward of the ball , That is where the magic happens, and you can see it in most of my posted videos.
To take your game to the next level, you need two things: stability and balance - here is how to get them:
1. Lighten the Club - Focus on getting the club vertical in the backswing
It will feel instantly lighter.
It will balance itself.
Your backswing will become effortless to set at the top which means its in balance
2. Trust Your Swing and all of the drills we have done to deliver the club to the correct low point forward of the ball it needs to be second nature , if you strugle please resume your impact exercises
Focus only on the parts of your swing that need fixing.
If a part works, trust it and move past it.
Golf is simple when you get the sequencing right.
Fix what is broken, trust what works, and watch your game improve!
"Follow my drill to lighten your club on the backswing by keeping your hands inside the clubhead as it moves into a more vertical position. Then, simply let it flow. You may feel some looping or strange movements at first, but don't worry—this is completely normal. Practice this drill for 40 balls during each session to see a massive difference and start striking the ball cleanly - As always, I encourage you to reach out with any questions. Head over to my profile, connect with my Skillest account, and book an evaluation lesson today. It is a million times better than staying stuck in a state of confusion.

Downswing Feel
As you start down, feel the left shoulder begin to firm up.
Not locked… not frozen… just building resistance.

That resistance becomes your post.

As it stabilises, you’ll feel the hands stretch away from the body.
That stretch is the key—it tells you the energy is transferring out of your body and into the clubhead.

Demo
If you want the drill visually, drop me a DM and i will send you a link to watch the video it will change your golf forever.

placing an alignment stick 10 cm behind the ball is one of the most effective, low-tech drills for fixing thin or fat shots and getting your low point where it needs to be.

By giving your brain an immediate visual barrier, it forces you to hit down on the ball and make impact before the clubhead reaches the bottom of its arc.
This Drill Helps With
Eliminating Fat Shots: Striking the ground before the ball will snap the stick (or jar your arms), giving you instant feedback.

Fixing Thin/Scooping Shots: Trying to lift or scoop the ball into the air naturally drops the clubhead too early. This drill forces a proper down-and-through motion.

⛳️

Creating Compression: It forces your hands to lead at impact, trapping the ball against the turf for crisper contact and higher spin.

Practice Focus

Build your technique through simple, repeatable drills.

Prioritise feel over force.

Start small—short chips, controlled landing zones—then gradually tighten your precision.

Final Thought

Consistency in chipping comes from clarity, simplicity, and repetition. Master the setup, trust the motion, and let the club do the work.

As shown in the visual, the arm structure remains strong: the lead arm maintains the arc while the trail hand pushes through the ball, creating a reliable, repeatable strike pattern.

I want to show you three key images that you can genuinely improve in the next hour. But you need to stay with me right to the end — the sequence is everything.

The first image you’re looking at is where we want to finish, so keep that picture in your mind. And if you can, grab a club so you can feel each position as we move through the lesson.

Ever wonder why some swings look completely effortless while others might feel like a constant battle? It usually comes down to executing just two distinct phases of the motion. Let’s break down the two parts of a proper turn:

Part One: the shoulder turn is the engine of your golf swing. We want the lead shoulder to work down and across, finishing under the chin. This happens against a stable, resisting hip structure, and that’s what allows the entire swing to start organizing itself.

That combination — the left shoulder moving down while the trail hip resists and stays deep — loads the right side, keeps you centered, and creates real coil instead of sway. The club sets itself without lifting or manipulating, and the downswing becomes a reaction rather than something you have to force. It’s one of the foundations of a consistent, powerful golf swing. Think of it as Part One of your motion.

Part Two: The Power Duo Part Two begins when the right elbow drives toward the right hip. This video looks at how the right elbow and right shoulder work during your downswing — we’re setting up your swing’s Power Duo.

When your right elbow drives down correctly in front of your right hip, it automatically regulates three crucial elements of your swing:

Spine tilt

Shoulder tilt

Hand action (which moves your low point ahead of the ball)

Bonus: It’s also an incredible way to control the overall pace of your swing. This is the blueprint for a truly powerful golf swing.

The Next Step: Watch the full video breakdown below to see exactly what this looks like in slow motion, then try focusing purely on that lead shoulder during your next practice session. Let me know how the contact feels!
