π₯ BURN, BABY, BURN! π₯
Today at iCreated Studio, things got a little heatedβ¦ in the best possible way. π
From wood burning to hat burning, our creative crew picked up the pyrography pens and turned up the heat, transforming timber and felt into completely unique, hand-burned creations.
Thereβs something ridiculously satisfying about watching a design slowly come to life, one burn mark at a time. Add a room full of creativity, a few laughs and that unmistakable something-is-definitely-burning aromaβ¦ and youβve got yourself a pretty fabulous day in the studio. ππ₯
Different materials. Different styles. Plenty of personality.
Burn Baby Burnβ¦ creativity was officially on fire today! π₯πͺ΅π€

Today is a super sad day for Mick, I and our studio team.
If you have ever been in our studio on a Thursday, you will have met our amazing studio assistant Megan Daff.
Megan started with us around 2 years ago as a work experience student a couple of hours a week. We loved her so much, we wouldn't let her leave and eventually Megan worked herself up to 1 full day a week as an integral member of the studio team.
If you have been to one of our paint n sips, chances are Megan prepped your canvas and filled the paint. If you have been to one of our pottery sessions, Megan was the person who glazed your masterpiece so it shines beautifully! These are just two of MANY of the behind the scenes jobs Megan did that nobody sees but are so important to making our studio work!
Due to some big changes that we can't talk about yet, we have had to say goodbye to Megan (just for a little while!).
Megan, thank you so much for all your hard work, your dedication and your commitment to the studio over the last couple of years! Thursdays are absolutely not going to be the same! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

β¨ Wednesdays are for making beautiful things... β¨
Today the studio was buzzing with creative energy from start to finish. π
Our Turkish Mosaic Lamp makers were carefully placing every tiny piece to create sparkling works of art, while our hand-building pottery crew were busy turning lumps of clay into whimsical mushrooms, gorgeous bowls, incense burners, wall art, berry bowls and plenty of wonderfully unique creations.
One of our favourite things? No two pieces are ever the same. Every project tells a little story about the person who made it. πΏ
Whether you're 15 or 75, coming on your own or creating alongside family and friends, there's something pretty special about spending a few hours making something with your own two hands.
Thanks to everyone who joined us today for filling the studio with laughter, conversation and a whole lot of creativity. We can't wait to see your pottery transformed once it's fired, and those mosaic pieces glowing beautifully when they're lit. β¨
Which project would you have chosen... pottery or mosaic? Tell us below! ππ

Store-bought mugs hold coffee.
Handmade mugs hold memories. βπΏ
The conversations shared around the table... The tiny imperfections that make each piece unique... The excitement of seeing your design come to life...
That's the real magic of creating with clay.
We can't wait to see these beauties glazed, fired and ready for their first morning coffee.
Who else thinks everything tastes better from a mug you made yourself? πββοΈ

πͺπ¨ Creativity is a lot like a muscle.
The more often you use it, the stronger it becomes.
You don't have to be "naturally artistic" to enjoy creating. You simply have to give yourself permission to begin.
That's exactly what happened to one of our lovely new regulars, Donna.
Just over a month ago, Donna walked through our doors for her very first iCreated Studio workshop... a Hot Process Soap Making class.
Fast forward a few weeks and she's completely caught the creative bug! She now travels from south of the river to Mindarie every week, often joining us for multiple workshops because she loves learning something new and spending time with our wonderful creative community.
Watching her confidence grow has been such a joy, and she's a beautiful reminder that creativity isn't about talent... it's about showing up.
So here's your little challenge this weekend...
β¨ Try something you've never done before.
β¨ Make time for yourself.
β¨ Let creativity surprise you.
Who knows? Your first workshop might just be the start of your own creative journey.
π We'd love to welcome you to the studio.
π What's one creative skill you've always wanted to try? Tell us in the comments!

π¨ Confession time...
How many unfinished creative projects do you have hiding around your house? π
π§Ά That knitting project you were definitely going to finish...
π¨ The paint set you bought with the best intentions...
𧡠The Cricut you just had to have...
π―οΈ The candle kit still sitting in the cupboard...
Don't worry... your secret's safe with us! π
The truth is, creativity isn't about finishing everything perfectly.
It's about taking time for yourself, trying something new, having a laugh, making a mess and enjoying the process.
At iCreated Studio, we hear people say "I'm not creative" almost every day.
By the end of the workshop?
They're proudly holding up something they made with their own two hands and already asking, "So... what's next?" π
π We want to know...
What's your unfinished creative project? (No judgement... we've all got one!)
Bonus points if you can make us laugh! π

Loads of fun at tonight's pottery session.
Tonight was our last technique session of our 4 week session.
Next week, our Potters are tackling their free session, using their favourite technique they will make their own project! We can't wait to see what they make!
