Only 36 days until the start of Mounts Bay Sailing Club's 2026/27 season⛵️ - Saturday, 3rd October 2026.

The last of the 2026 winter sailing series is on this Sunday 30th August with 12.15pm briefing and 1pm racing starts.

Commodore Larry Smith will be officially opening the club's new lift this Sunday at 11.15am.
Come and support your club afterwards at Mounts Bay's AGM.

Some revision to prepare for next Sunday's final Winter Series day, 30th August. The weather forecast looks suitable for our new sailors. Be a part of the fun of sailing on the Swan.

The last of the club's winter series sailing will be on Sunday 30th August. Before sailing that day, Commodore Larry Smith will officially open the new lift with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11.15am.

This Sunday 17 August, the weather looks OK for a sail at MBSC and a catch up with other sailors. Get prepared for the next Winter Series which is in two weeks.

Not to be missed opportunity!

Open to all tasar sailors, the Tasar Association of Victoria is hosting a Post-Okinawa Worlds Debrief on Wednesday 12th August 2026 at 1900 AEST.

Hosted/moderated by Mono, featuring top-placed Victorians Heather MacFarlane and Chris Payne, this promises to be a night of great insights and knowledge-sharing amongst the fleet that the Tasar community is renowned for!

Some sailing did occur this afternoon, but no races took place due to the cold front weather activities. Nicky and Phil had some good rides around Matilda Bay. Damien sailed his Scow Moth and practiced his capsize routine!
