Tuff weekend for the kids at King of the Hill, Luca struggling with the confidence to pass at the right time, no holding back for the final though sent it from lights out and held her position for majority of the race with some killer straight line hp helping. Chase hasn’t had very much practice at Wundowie so was off pace and got all in his own head and decided to withdraw.
In KA Heavy Lloyd was having an epic battle for 2nd unfortunately after crossing the line in 3rd he was demoted to 5th with a drop down. A disappointing weekend but we turn our head to the next race this weekend at Wanneroo. Thanks to BD Soutar-dawson for all the advice and help over the weekend. Shout out to Nancy for all the amazing photos throughout the day 🙏

Massive thanks to Roy and Adam from ARC karts and Engines for allowing us to use their Rotax engine at this years King of the Hill. Having put it on Pole the signs were positive, the heats provided close racing and after some fine tuning we were excited for the final. Unfortunately it was short lived and ended at turn 1 in the end. Nevertheless it was a great learning curve.
Also a huge thanks to Sneaky for the mammoth effort put into both karts over the weekend 💪

KOTH run down.
Cassy showing potential in putting it on Pole Position, a heat win and then fell backwards from there after playing with a wet setup that just did not work. Had pace in the final but some unluck with yellow lights and getting through the field cost the chance of a podium.

Lloyd running the new 401T Tony Kart this weekend thanks to Adam Arc. Had solid running pace however just couldn’t catch a break. DQ from quali for exhaust cap falling off, engine issues and then the wheels really fell off quite literally failing to make the final.

Our 501:1 long shot Chase in his first race as a junior heavy started the weekend off the pace a bit more than expected, nevertheless this was to be a weekend to gain some experience only. When the rain came his anxiety started to raw but he took to the water like a fish and smashed it by moving up the field. A solid start saw him in 3rd and that’s where he remained and he hasn’t stopped smiling since.
