Our lifeguards are the watchful eyes around the water, helping thousands of people enjoy ALAC safely each year.

From preventing incidents before they happen to responding calmly when someone needs help, lifeguarding takes focus, confidence, teamwork and a genuine commitment to the community.

Today we’re proud to recognise the people behind the yellow shirts. Thank you to our lifeguards for everything you do to keep ALAC safe, welcoming and ready for everyone to enjoy. 💛🖤

Our club, like many many others, thrives on the contributions of volunteers. You don’t have to take on a formal committee role either, these micro volunteering efforts show that every little job added up to make a big difference.

Thank you to everyone for today for their effort and willingness to help behind the scenes keeps our club looking its best and makes it an even better place for all of our swimmers.

100m Backstroke
200m Freestyle
400m Freestyle- he beat this by 9.30s

Some of the records he broke already belonged to him from earlier in the season.
