π¨ Pentathlon champion alert! π¨
When they said βswim all five strokesββ¦ Mason Fourie basically heard, βGo collect that Trophy.β π₯π
Competing at the Perth High Performance Centre, Mason took on the ultimate swimming challenge in the 10 year old boys category:
π 50m Freestyle
π Backstroke
π Breaststroke
π Butterfly
π 100m Individual Medley
No second chances. No picking your favourite event. Just five timed finals, with every second added together to crown the overall champion.
And when the maths was doneβ¦ Mason was on top! ππͺ
Five races. One very impressive cumulative time. One very deserved 1st place. π₯ He may have even snuck in an Albany record in the 10 year olds Individual Medley, because well, why not?
Massive congratulations, Mason! We hope youβve still got enough energy left to carry that fancy trophy around all weekβ¦ because we would.
Your Albany Swim Club family is incredibly proud of you! ππ Swimming WA
