400m Freestyle- he beat this by 9.30s

Some of the records he broke already belonged to him from earlier in the season.

Where would we be without them. A huge thank you to our wonderful tech officials. Many of them travelled to Albany to run Short Course for all of our swimmers.

When they said “swim all five strokes”… Mason Fourie basically heard, “Go collect that Trophy.” 🥇😎

Competing at the Perth High Performance Centre, Mason took on the ultimate swimming challenge in the 10 year old boys category:
🏊 50m Freestyle
🏊 Backstroke
🏊 Breaststroke
🏊 Butterfly
🏊 100m Individual Medley

No second chances. No picking your favourite event. Just five timed finals, with every second added together to crown the overall champion.

And when the maths was done… Mason was on top! 👑💪

Five races. One very impressive cumulative time. One very deserved 1st place. 🥇 He may have even snuck in an Albany record in the 10 year olds Individual Medley, because well, why not?

Massive congratulations, Mason! We hope you’ve still got enough energy left to carry that fancy trophy around all week… because we would.
