School holidays are about to get a whole lot more adventurous. Bookings are now open for our School Holiday Program!

A chance for kids aged 8–11 to get outside, try new things, and have an unforgettable holiday experience. The program is run by experts in outdoor education and is open to both Scouts and non-Scouts.

As the experts in outdoor youth education, Scouts offers a great Outdoor Education program in a safe environment that teaches students resilience, confidence and problem-solving skills.

The outdoor options are complemented by our state-of-the-art facilities, such as our newly renovated accommodation, bathrooms, catering and kitchen amenities, and our refurbished conference room complete with a brand-new audiovisual suite.

Scouts NSW is thrilled to share our updates and renovations to the storied Baden-Powell Activity Centre.

The biggest changes have been made to the John Hill and Pax Hall buildings, both receiving an internal and external facelift. In particular, the meeting spaces have been modernised, and state-of-the-art audiovisual suites installed.

Another highlight is the reopening of the House of Friendship, a smaller accommodation building. The Colin Doust building has also received a new lick of paint, new air con, and lighting in its accommodation areas. Both changes significantly improve the accommodation options available at BP.

Elsewhere, bathroom and kitchen amenities across the Centre have been upgraded. Handrails and an accessibility ramp to Lyon Barton Hall (the large hall) have also been installed to improve access across the site.
