Thank you for doing your part to keep our pools safe, clean and enjoyable for all.

Please continue to shower before entering the pools, washing your hands with warm soapy water after using the toilet, and avoid swallowing pool water.

If you or your child have had diarrhoea in the last 14 days, please wait before returning to the pool. This ensures the safety of other patrons, and keeps germs out of the waters.

Please utilise the free aqua nappies available at reception for children.

Reformer Pilates is for everyone🧘

Ever wanted to try reformer Pilates but weren't sure where to start?
We're one of the few reformer studios in Hume - and we're open to all levels from total beginners to seasoned Pilates goers.

We adapt exercises to cater to any injuries or rehabilitation, just let us know prior to the class.

🌟 From Student to Swim Teacher: Firdawce's Inspiring Journey 🌟

Three years ago, Firdawce walked through the doors of Broadmeadows Leisure Centre and joined our Women's Only Swim Class. Having never been in a swimming pool before, taking that first step into the water was a huge achievement.

With the guidance and encouragement of swim teacher Sofie, Firdawce began building her confidence and developing her swimming skills. As her abilities grew, so did her ambition, setting a goal that many would have thought impossible. “To become a swim teacher”.

Committed to lessons for the next 2 years, working tirelessly to improve, and embraced every opportunity to learn. Her dedication paid off when she completed her swim teacher training, gained valuable pool experience, and successfully achieved her swim teacher licence.

Today, Firdawce is a valued member of the Hume Swim School team, inspiring others with the same enthusiasm and encouragement that once helped her on her own journey.

One of the most special moments? Seeing Firdawce teaching the very Women's Only Swim Class where she first learned to swim. When Sofie is away, Firdawce proudly steps in to lead the class, coming full circle from student to teacher.

👏 Firdawce's story is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through determination, perseverance, and the support of a welcoming community. We are incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished and the positive impact she continues to have on others.

Disability Sports Australia, in partnership with Hume City Council, is proud to present the Hume Abilities Unleashed Kids and Adults Event at Craigieburn Sports Stadium.

This free community event gives children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to try a range of sports and active recreation activities in a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment.
