THIS IS WHAT WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR.

What a performance from our boys yesterday.

There was complete faith in this group to bounce back against Roxburgh Park, and we knew from the outset it was going to be a heated contest, particularly in the opening 10 minutes. But this group was hungry, determined and willing to step up when it mattered most.

The structure in the back half was outstanding and became a major driving force behind the way the ball was surged forward. The boys defended with purpose, trusted their teammates and transitioned the ball with real intent. It was a performance built on belief, discipline and a willingness to fight for each other.

We are heading back to the big stage - where our boys belong.

Now it’s about embracing the week ahead and appreciating what this group has achieved together. These moments don’t come around every year, and they should never be taken for granted. Enjoy the week, enjoy the journey and enjoy being around the people who have worked so hard to get here.

But the job is not done.

The boys will remain composed, level-headed and focused as attention now turns to the biggest prize of them all - the one every team dreams of competing for.

The opportunity is in front of us, and now we dictate how we want to finish the story.

One more challenge. One more opportunity. One united group.

It is with great sadness that we inform the greater Coburg Districts/Batman FC community of the passing of Clyde Day last week.
Clyde, affectionately known as Narelle, was a former player, Reserves & Junior coach & committee person (during 70's/80's) who was a great mate to all.
Narelle was always up for a great laugh while he was a hard worker around the club & always had time for a chat.
While we haven't seen much of him around the club of late, he always had the club at heart.

Condolences to Deb, Jack, family & friends.
