Beautiful weather and even better sailing.
The University sharpie day saw teams tackling a new class and fighting around the race course for the first Uni Sailing Clubs regatta organised by our very own Melbourne University Sailing Club.
The regatta had entrants from Deakin University, Melbourne University Sport, Monash University and RMIT Sport with RMIT finishing in second and Melbourne winning the University Sailing Championships.
The day wasn’t without its incidents with multiple capsizes, spinnakers under bows as well as Parksy and Co from RMIT coming comedically close to sending FigJam to the bottom.
Massive thanks to Mordialloc Sailing Club for hosting the racing and the VIC Sharpies for lending your boats for the day.

Reminder: Our Come Try Sailing Event is Tomorrow, this is a ticketed event due to limited number of boats so if you do not have a ticket you will not be able to come. There are still some tickets left so get in quick.
It is a free event with a BBQ and some free drinks after too. Wo why wouldn’t you.
