📣 REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN 📣
It’s time to get your teams organised — registrations are now OPEN for the upcoming Parkes Touch local competition! 🏉
Before registering, please take a few minutes to read through the information below. There are some important registration requirements to help us get teams organised and the competition running smoothly.
🏉 MINI TOUCH
Mini Touch teams are formed by the committee.
Players need to:
• Register as an individual player
• Nominate 2 friends they would like to play with for consideration when teams are formed
We’ll do our best to consider friendship nominations while creating balanced teams.
Mini Touch players will be provided with a team shirt by Parkes Touch for the season. These shirts remain the property of the club and must be returned at the end of the competition season.
🎒 YEARS 3–10 | TEAM REGISTRATION
From Years 3–10, players organise their own teams and register as part of that team.
Please note:
• Players must register in their correct age group
• Teams can have a maximum of 10 players
• Teams can have a maximum of 4 Pumas players
• This limit includes Pumas shadow players
⚠️ IMPORTANT – REGISTERING YOUR TEAM
Your team contact must register the TEAM FIRST.
Once the team has been created, individual players can then complete their registration and select the team created by their team contact.

👕 TEAM UNIFORMS
Teams from Years 3–10 organise their own team shirts/uniforms.
We ask that teams please DO NOT choose pink team shirts.
Pink helps us easily identify our accredited referees on the field, so keeping this colour for our officials makes everyone’s job a little easier.
🧒 PRE-SCHOOL TOUCH
Players who previously completed an EOI for Pre-School Touch will receive priority for available registrations.
If you missed the EOI but would still like your child to participate, please send the Parkes Touch page a message. Additional registrations may be considered if there is sufficient interest and volunteer support available.
👕 Pre-School Touch shirts are included as part of the player's registration and are theirs to KEEP at the end of the season.
🔎 DON’T HAVE A TEAM?
We don’t want that to stop you from playing!

The committee will identify teams that may have room for additional players and contact the relevant team to enquire about accepting another registration.
🤝 WHEN YOU’RE FORMING YOUR TEAM, PLEASE ALSO THINK ABOUT HOW YOU CAN HELP
Our local competition doesn’t happen without volunteers.
We have been incredibly fortunate to have a small group of parents band together to make sure local touch continues in Parkes — but a handful of people simply can’t carry the workload alone.
When you’re getting your team together, please have a conversation about how your team could contribute to the club and our local competition this season.
It doesn’t mean everyone needs to take on a huge role. Many hands doing small jobs can make an enormous difference.
Whether it’s helping with set-up or pack-up, the canteen, refereeing, coordinating, game-day jobs or lending a hand when something needs doing — every contribution is appreciated and plays an important part in keeping our club strong. 🧡💚
Our aim isn’t just to get another season up and running. We want to continue building a strong, sustainable local competition that our community can enjoy for years to come — and that takes a community effort.

Please continue to communicate with patience and respect as our new committee works hard behind the scenes to get all the logistics of the upcoming competition sorted.
There are lots of moving pieces involved in getting everyone onto the field, and our committee members are volunteers giving their time to make it happen.
