What a game from the whole team! It was neck and neck right from the start, with both teams fighting hard for every point. The team showed amazing determination, teamwork and composure to keep pushing until the final whistle and come away with a one-point win! What a finish!

Player of the week does to Hayley, we wanna say a huge well done to Hayley for stepping up and filling in for the team! She jumped straight in, worked incredibly hard and did an amazing job. Hayley showed great teamwork, determination and confidence throughout the game, making such a valuable contribution when the team needed her. Thank you for stepping up, Hayley — you were fantastic!

💜 What a way to finish the normal season! 💜

This week was our last game for the normal season, and the girls finished on a high with a fantastic win! 🎉

The girls went out with a positive, can-do attitude, constantly encouraging and pumping each other up. 💪🏼 They really showed how much they have grown as a team, both on and off the court.

Alongside our game preparation, we’ve been working on some one-on-one training and learning how to deal with those “pushy” and “in-your-face” defenders — and this week we got to see some of that training come to life! 👏🏼

🏆 PLAYER OF THE WEEK — SOPHIE 🏆

Sophie was absolutely on fire with her shooting this week! 🔥🏀 She really stepped up and showed confidence in the circle.

We also saw the benefits of our recent training session on dealing with defenders. Sophie took those skills away, put them into practice and really brought them to life on court! 👏🏼

Sophie, you should be so proud of yourself — what a way to finish the season! 💜

Please be on time. Training is very important and we ask that you try and make every effort to be there each week. If you have any issues please contact your coach or team manager.

We understand in the winter season the weather can be tricky. Training will always go ahead. As much as possible training will be outside. However we do have access to an indoor space which we will use when weather does not permit outdoor training. The coaches will adjust their training strategies to accommodate an indoor training session.

Don’t forget to bring your water bottle and your gorgeous smiling faces – we can’t wait to see you all on court! 🏐✨

What an amazing game from our U9s! 💙 This was definitely the best game they’ve ever played together, and we couldn’t be more proud of every single one of them! 🥹👏 We came away with a great win, and everyone deservedly received an award! 🏆

Our passing was amazing, with everyone working together and making some great passes. Our defence was outstanding, and our attacking was just as good! The teamwork, effort and improvement from every player was incredible to watch. So proud of our little team — what a game! 💙🏐

A solid effort from our Under 17 Storm girls! 💙🏐

Every week these girls go out on the court with plenty of determination, teamwork and some great passages of play. They are resilient and keep on keeping on no matter the challenges they have been given. Another season of section 1 has been tough but they have stood up and taken it head on. Well done Earthquakes! 🌟

This week’s award went to Deane. She is fierce on the ball, has excellent vision and super quick on her feet. She gets multiple intercepts and deflections.

An incredible effort by the whole team tonight, with everyone stepping up to help fill new positions due to our primary C being out injured.
I’m super proud of everyone for stepping out of their comfort zone. You gave it your all and absolutely nailed it, resulting in a very well-deserved win!

Player of the Day today was Izzie! She was a superstar playing 2 quarters in C for the first time, and 2 in defense. Her efforts helped to lead the team through the mid-court, and as always, she’s a key part in our defense at the rings. Fantastic work tonight, Izzie! 💜

And a second Player of the Day was Stav! She gets faster every week and she was on fire tonight in the rings. Darting and weaving to receive passes, and getting lots of goals. Awesome job, Stav! 🩵

This weeks player of the match goes to Olivia. Olivia played in various positions tonight and excelled in all of them. She was constantly driving forward and playing the ball. She displayed amazing footwork and was putting the principles of training into play. Fantastic job Olivia.

What an amazing game from the whole team! Everyone worked so hard, encouraged each other and kept pushing right until the final whistle. The teamwork, determination and effort across the court were fantastic, and it was great to see everyone giving their all to come away with a well-deserved win!

Player of the week goes to Holly, Holly had a fantastic game! She showed great determination and worked incredibly hard throughout the whole game. Holly was always looking for opportunities, supporting her teammates and giving 100% every time she stepped onto the court. Her effort and positive attitude really stood out. Amazing work, Holly — well deserved!

What another great game! 👏🏻 We worked incredibly hard as a team, especially in defence. We kept our hands up, applied pressure, and worked hard to make it difficult for the opposition to move the ball around. Our teamwork and communication really stood out as we fought for every ball, such a team effort 👏🏻
We’ve been working hard at training and it shows on the court.

Player of the week went to Mary. She’s been listening at training, and putting into practice onto the court what we’ve been working on at training, which resulted into intercepts 👏🏻

It was a tough game and unfortunately not the result we were hoping for, but there was still plenty to be proud of. Our team kept fighting right until the end and never gave up.

This week’s Player of the Week awards go to Kyla and TJ.

TJ was outstanding in GD, showing great movement and working hard throughout the game to defend the circle. He kept fighting for every ball and gave it everything he had!

Kyla was brilliant through the centre court, always making herself available as a contact option and working hard to drive the ball through. She also did a fantastic job shutting down their Centre and making it difficult for them to move the ball.

A tough loss doesn’t take away from the effort and determination shown on the court. We learn, we grow and we come back stronger! So proud of you all.
