Tonight we’re bringing a little friendly competition to the pool! 🎉

Race Night is all about giving our swimmers the opportunity to experience racing in a fun, friendly and supportive environment — building confidence, encouraging good sportsmanship and, most importantly, having FUN! 💦🙌

Whether they’re a confident racer or stepping up to the blocks for the first time, we want every swimmer to feel proud, have a go and cheer on their friends! 👏

We’re back from the Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA) Conference feeling inspired, motivated and incredibly proud! 💙

The conference gave us the opportunity to continue growing our industry knowledge, learn from leading professionals, share ideas and experiences, and network with swim school operators and industry leaders from across Australia and around the world. 🌏🏊‍♀️

And then came the ASSA Awards Night on Wednesday… and what a night it was! 🎉

🎉 We're Back on Monday! 🏊‍♀️💙

The countdown is almost over! After completing our bathroom renovations and essential maintenance, we're excited to welcome all our swimmers and families back to C&M Aquatic Centre on Monday 3rd August for Week 3 of Term 3.

Our team is ready, refreshed, and looking forward to another fantastic term filled with learning, laughter, confidence-building, and plenty of smiles in the pool.

A big thank you to all our families for your patience and understanding while we completed these important improvements. Your support means so much to us, and we can't wait to see everyone back doing what we love most—teaching children valuable swimming and water safety skills.

🔵🔵World Drowning Prevention Day 2026 – Unite to turn the tide on drowning🔵🔵

Drowning claims more than 300,000 lives globally each year, including hundreds here in Australia. It’s a leading cause of death among children and young people – and yet, drowning is preventable.

Established by the United Nations in 2021, World Drowning Prevention Day is a global call to action. Each year on 25 July, communities, organisations and individuals come together to remember lives lost and unite to turn the tide on drowning through education, awareness and action.

This year, C&M Aquatic Centre is proud to join Royal Life Saving Australia in supporting safer communities and promoting simple steps that can save lives.

You can help turn the tide on drowning by:

👀Supervising children around water
💦Checking pool fences and gates
🛟Wearing a lifejacket
🍾Avoiding alcohol and drugs around water
🏄Knowing local water conditions
🚑Learning CPR
