As 2023 National Volunteer Week continues, today we recognise one of the unsung heroes from Table Tennis NSW - Connie Chan.

Connie has been the Secretary of the St George and Sutherland Shire Table Tennis Association (SSTT) since 2014. A role which sees her:
- promoting and encouraging table tennis in the community through running table tennis competitions, social table tennis, and table tennis for seniors.
- marketing sponsorship packages for the Pennants, Open and Closed Championships, providing financial support to the SSTT club.
- manage the annual presentation night including the run-sheet, presentation pack, guest speakers, award recipients, venue, trophies, music, ticketing, raffle.

Connie is also Level 2 coach, presenter of TOPS and Level 1 coaching courses, and continues to play at local and national events!

Great news! Our club will be reopening this Saturday 5/2/2022 for coaching and social play.
Coaching from 9am to 12pm.
Social play starts 1.30pm - 3.30pm.

Please note: We are taking the necessary precautions to ensure everyone is safe. A reminder to wash hands regularly, particularly before and after playing table tennis.

To ensure everyone's safety, please stay home if you display any cold and flu symptoms.

The latest announcement by the NSW Government continues to mean that there is no table tennis in the Greater Sydney area, Padstow.

Therefore, our Term 3 training program and social play are postponed until the lockdown is lifted.

Stay safe with the family.

Club closed during school holiday and Anzac weekend.

Training and social play resume Satursday 1/5/2021.
