Kolekcija slika i videozapisa koji su nam poslani s ovog povijesnog dana u modernom dobu ovog velikog hrvatskog nogometnog kluba u Australiji.

Croatia Melbourne izborila je povratak u najviši rang nogometa u saveznoj državi Viktoriji u Australiji, te je okrunjena naslovom prvaka VPL1 (Viktorijske Premijer Lige 1). To se dogodilo samo godinu dana nakon što je klub 2025. ispao iz lige, završivši na posljednjem, 14. mjestu.

Bio je to prvi put nakon 62 godine da je klub pao u drugi rang nogometa u australskoj saveznoj državi Viktoriji. Posljednje ispadanje dogodilo se 1963. godine, kada je Croatia Melbourne završila na pretposljednjem, 11. mjestu Viktorijske Državne Lige (Victorian State League) i ispala u Metropolitansku ligu - diviziju 1 (Metropolitan League Division 1).

Godine 1964. Croatia Melbourne (tada poznata kao SC Croatia) odmah se kao prvak izborila za povratak u najviši rang sljedeće sezone. Više od šest desetljeća kasnije povijest se ponovila. Nakon ispadanja 2025., Croatia Melbourne ponovno je odgovorila ekspresnim povratkom u viši rang, ovoga p**a uz osvajanje naslova prvaka VPL1 za 2026. godinu.

Bio je to izvanredan preokret nakon razdoblja konsolidacije na terenu i izvan njega. Pod izvrsnim vodstvom trenera Michaela Calandrelle i njegova stručnog stožera, uz veliki trud uprave i volontera te povratak strastvenih navijača kluba tijekom jednog od najtežih razdoblja u njegovoj povijesti, ovaj veliki klub ponovno je zaslužio svoje mjesto u najvišem rangu nogometa u Viktoriji.

Croatia Melbourne (Knights) vratit će se u prvu ligu NPL Viktorije 2027. godine.

Ovaj uspjeh 2026. ujedno je i prvi ligaški naslov kluba nakon legendarnih uzastopnih uspjeha u Nacionalnoj nogometnoj ligi Australije (NSL) – prvaci lige i pobjednici prvenstva u 1994./95. te prvenstva 1995./96. – što ovom uspjehu daje još veći značaj.

Ova utakmica bila je i proslava 20. godišnjice navijačke skupine Melbourne Croatia Fans, osnovane 2006. godine, koja je priredila spektakularnu atmosferu i koreografije s kultne tribine „Quarry Hill“.

Slavlje koje je uslijedilo priredilo je nezaboravne prizore, koji se mogu vidjeti na snimkama koje su nam velikodušno ustupili prijatelji i pratitelji stranice Forever Croatia.

A collection of photos and videos sent in from this historic day in the modern era of this great Croatian football club in Australia.

Melbourne Croatia were promoted back to the top tier of football in Victoria and crowned champions of the VPL1. This came just one year after the club was relegated in 2025, having finished in last place (14th).

It was the first time in 62 years that the club had fallen into the second tier of football in the state of Victoria, Australia. The last relegation came in 1963, when Melbourne Croatia finished second-last (11th) in the Victorian State League and were relegated to the Metropolitan League Division 1.

In 1964, Melbourne Croatia (SC Croatia as they were known then) immediately won promotion as champions back to the top tier the following season. More than six decades later, history has repeated itself. Following relegation in 2025, Melbourne Croatia have once again responded by winning immediate promotion and, this time, the 2026 VPL1 championship.

It has been a remarkable turnaround, following a period of consolidation both on and off the field. Under the outstanding leadership of coach Michael Calandrella and his team, together with the hard work of the committee and volunteers and the return of the club’s passionate supporters, during one of the most testing periods in its history. This great club has once again earned its place in Victoria’s top tier.

Melbourne Croatia/Knights will return to NPL Victoria in 2027.

The 2026 triumph is also the club’s first league title since its storied back-to-back 1994/95 and 1995/96 National Soccer League of Australia triumphs, making the achievement all the more significant.

This match was also a celebration of 20 years of the Melbourne Croatia Fans supporter group, founded in 2006. Providing a spectacular atmosphere and choreographies from the cult “Quarry hill” stand.

The celebrations that followed produced some unforgettable scenes, as can be seen in the footage generously provided to us by friends and supporters of the Forever Croatia page.

Originalni dres nogometnog kluba DJK Zagreb Kroatien Kassel (Croatia Kassel) iz razdoblja 1990.–1994. Hrvatski nogometni klub osnovan 1976. godine u Kasselu, u središnjoj Njemačkoj. Slike dresa nam je još jednom ljubazno ustupio kolekcionar nogometnih dresova i veliki prijatelj stranice, Anthony Zorić.

Die Bilder wurden uns erneut freundlicherweise vom Fußballtrikot-Sammler und guten Freund unserer Seite, Anthony Zorić, zur Verfügung gestellt.

Momčad Centro Cultural Croata iz Rosarija u Argentini 2002 i 2003 godine 🇭🇷🇦🇷

Iz razdoblja kada se momčad Hrvatskog kulturnog centra iz Rosarija natjecala u ligi Nogometnog saveza grada Rosarija (Asociación Rosarina de Fútbol).

Ove rijetke slike nam je poslao Javier Santich, poznati kolekcionar hrvatskih nogometnih dresova iz cijelog svijeta, koji je u to vrijeme branio za momčad Centro Cultural Croata iz Rosarija u Argentini.

In the period when the team of the Croatian Cultural Centre in Rosario competed in the league of the Rosario Football Association (Asociación Rosarina de Fútbol).

These rare photos were sent to us by Javier Santich, a well-known collector of Croatian football shirts from around the world, who at the time played as a goalkeeper for the Centro Cultural Croata team in Rosario, Argentina.
