What I’d tell a woman starting her fitness journey 🦋

You don’t need to train 6 days a week.
You don’t need to eat perfectly.
You don’t need to lift super heavy straight away.
You don’t need to punish yourself for missing a workout.
And you definitely don’t need to have it all figured out before you start.

What matters most is consistency over perfection.

Some weeks you’ll feel motivated and smash every workout. Other weeks life will get busy and just getting one or two sessions in is a win.

Your fitness journey doesn’t have to be extreme to be effective. It just needs to be something you can actually maintain. 🧡

Start where you are. Work with the time you have. And keep showing up.

You’re capable of so much more than you think. ✨

One thing I’ve learnt as a personal trainer…

The women who get the best results aren’t the ones with the most time.

They’re the ones who stop waiting for the “perfect” time and start with what they have.

Busy mums, full-time workers, shift workers… consistency always beats perfection.

If you’ve been thinking about getting back into fitness this is your sign 💖

Mums spend so much time looking after everyone else that fitness often becomes the last priority 🤍

Between kids, housework, work and everything else… it’s easy to put yourself last.

But even 30–40 minutes a few times a week can make such a difference, physically and mentally.

What do you find hardest when trying to get back into fitness?

A) Finding time
B) Finding energy
C) Knowing what workouts to do
D) Staying consistent

Be honest… is this your workout lately? 😂🧺

Lifting washing, chasing kids, running around all day…

But what if you gave yourself just 30 minutes?

That’s all it takes to start seeing real change 🤍

You don’t need hours
You just need consistency

A flat, toned stomach is one of the most common fitness goals🙋🏽‍♀️
But it’s also one of the most misunderstood…

A lot of the time it’s not about doing more ab workouts, it’s about what’s happening overall👇

Some common reasons you might not be seeing results:
1. Not eating the right nutrition (calories + macros suited to YOU)
2. Giving up too early because results aren’t instant
3. Poor or inconsistent training
4. Lack of sleep + high stress levels
5. Hormones being out of balance

The truth is, your midsection reflects everything going on in your body, not just your workouts.

This is why quick fixes don’t last… but consistent habits do💙

My reason isn’t just me anymore💜

Mum life is busy, messy and far from perfect…but showing up still matters.

Not just for me, but for her.

Because they’re always watching. How we move, how we take care of ourselves, how we show up.

And sometimes it turns into little moments like this 🥹💜

Mums, do your kids copy you when you workout?

Just because something is “healthy” doesn’t mean you can eat unlimited amounts of it🍎🍌🍞🍳🍪

Portion control is still so important✅

As mums, we tend to snack a lot throughout the day, between the kids, housework and everything in between. And sometimes we don’t realise how calorie-dense certain foods can be, even the “healthy” ones.
That’s why being mindful of what you’re snacking on makes a big difference.
A simple tip that helps:
Focus on your protein and try to keep it the highest of your three macros.
Carbs are not your enemy, they’re completely fine and give you energy.
Fats are also so important, especially for our hormones, but they’re easy to overconsume without realising.

A quick, easy guide you can follow:
• Add a protein source to every meal or snack
• Keep snacks simple (e.g. low sugar yoghurt, eggs, protein shake, bars, wraps)
• Be mindful with high-fat foods like nuts, oils & spreads
• Aim to feel satisfied, not overly full

It’s not about being perfect, just building awareness and balance🙌🏽

You glow differently when you make time for movement, even in the middle of mum life 🙃

It doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t have to be long.

Even a little “you time” moving your body at home or at the gym can do wonders for your body, your mental health, your hormones and your mood.

And when you feel better, it flows into everything including the energy you bring to your kids 🙌🏽

Movement isn’t about pressure or punishment. It’s about taking care of yourself too 💛

Mums do you feel better mentally when you make time to move your body?
