We love to celebrate the achievements of our Orange juniors.
Today our highlight is NIC WARBURTON.
Nic played his junior cricket and began his umpiring career in Orange, following in the footsteps of dad, Dave and mum, Kathryn.
Nic moved to Sydney for university and has continued his umpiring there moving up to grade. He has now been appointed to the State & Territory Umpires Panel for 2026/27.
Nic (r) is pictured here umpiring at the National Indigenous Cricket Championships. Apologies, we donβt know the name of the other umpire.
Alongside Premier Cricket commitments, members of the STUPβs officiate in the WBBL, WNCL, state Second XI; CA Underage National Championships and as Fourth Umpires in the BBL.
Nic also loves coming home and giving us a hand in the January Carnivals when he can and has stood in several of our T20 exhibition games.
Well done and congratulations Nic!
