It’s been a cracking two days of bowls, and now we’re down to the final day! Two enthralling games are coming up this morning, with both matches having a major impact on the final placings and prize money.

It has been wonderful having Benny Two Shoes with us this year. The live coverage has created even more excitement and hype around this fantastic tournament!

Hello Bowlers & Visitors,

I would like to make an apology for putting in the wrong photo in the City Life Mag, last week, we have some members who have morphed into Matt, Dave & big Al. Sorry about that!!!

Justin is home & is at OHS, Medical Imaging A, visitors are welcome.

Just a reminder that Tuesday Bowls is teams & single entry, if you put your name in the single-entry box, it is potluck who you get to team up with. There will be a notice on this in alcove. Saturday is as per usual single entry & the same rule applies. Please refrain from asking the committee members doing the draw, “on who you are matched with,” there job is time consuming enough without being pestered.

There are club hoodies, expression of interest form going around, you can put your name down on the form. This is to gauge how many members would be interested in purchasing & for the club to source a supplier on cost.

Nomination sheet for Committee & the like will be put out in September.

Regional Trials nominations are now open, and to be played at Gulgong on 7th November 2026, to get a form please see Phil McGarity.

Tuesday was a wash out, with some welcome winter rain.

Saturday, we had 32 Bowlers, 12 playing Singles and 20 Socials with 2 teams playing at Majellan in their Knickerbocker 4’s.

Unfortunates’ Bernie King (has lost his crown) & Linda McFadden who is now the new Cash Cow.

Jackpot was won by; Dennis Morcom, John Cooper, P.A. Baker, Phoebe Coster, Bill Keogh, Tony Bowers. This jackpot was carried over as it was not worth sharing.

Jim would like to thank the players who put their hand up to play there, Round 2, Singles Championship games early, very much appreciated.
