Orange Triathlon Club - The Piranhas
The Orange Piranhas Triathlon Club are based in Orange, Central West NSW. We promote a healthy lifestyle and support for our triathletes to achieve their best.
Orange Cycle & Triathlon Club (OCTC) is a family oriented community that caters for the young to old, and beginner to elite triathlete. We provide a strong triathlon program through the season that encourages inclusion and participation and we have an off season.

Are you keen for some Duathlon training this Sunday 2/8/2026? Letβs get excited.
Open to all - OTC members and newcomers alike. A great chance to test out your run and bike transitions and get a head start on the 2026/27 Tri Season.
Where: Gosling Creek Reserve - meet in the middle near the toilet block. All participants will be required to sign the participants checkin and non members will also need to sign a waiver.
What time: setup 9am - anyone who is keen to help us with setup and ensure a safe training session please come out to the shed at 9am.
Training event: starts at 10am so be ready to go, with your bike racked.
What you need: bike (any kind providing itβs in good condition and has working brakes), you also need a helmet, running shoes and layers of clothing (you need enough to keep warm but be able to take off layers as you warm up).
Whatβs the distance: for this event we will be trialling the crit track for both the run and ride.
The distances can be adapted based on your fitness and ability.
Short course - 1.1km run (1 lap), 3.3km Ride (3 laps) and 1.1km run (1 lap). For those who want a slightly longer course you can add another 3.3km Ride and 1.1km run. For those who want to test their endurance you can add another 3.3km Ride and 1.1km run. Decide on the day how you feel.
For younger participants we can adapt the course as needed.

A huge congratulations to Josiah Dirs and Max Horne who have both been selected in the 2026/27 NSW Development Squad π Well done guys. We canβt wait to see your triathlon skills develop over the season.
This year will be Josβs 5th season with OTC and second year in the NSW Development Squad whilst Max is starting his 3rd season with OTC and itβs his first year being selected in the NSW Development Squad.
The NSW Pathway Program Development Squad, along with the Billigence Pathway Series, is a fantastic program for all those selected to take their sport to the next level. πββοΈπ΄ββοΈπββοΈπ
