Winter rug time for the broodmares after the cold change that hit this week 🥶☔️ We timed it perfectly as the rain began as we put the last rug on Cuba. 👌🏻
We love our girls! 3 of the 6 are baking us babies due between October & November.

We recently said “safe travels” 😊 to our lovely girl Polly “Middle L Eezzee Tiger” as she loaded up to her new home in Victoria.

Meet Lloyd 🤠
The somewhat unexpected, member of our show team. 😎
Lloyd is a yearling, was brought in out of the paddock after Appaloosa nationals, with no prior training just well handled, to start lunging and led versatility work.
When Tamara said she wanted to go to a local ranch show, Deb thought, “let’s try this.”
So with almost 3 weeks work under his belt, Lloyd went to his first show! He competed in led prospect Trail, led prospect lungeline & led prospect conformation and he absolutely nailed it.

Our next MEET THE TEAM...
The big man himself....HOBBS 🐴 ML Cant Resist The Best
Hobbs needs no introduction to the Appaloosa show ring.
As our resident stallion, he has made his mark with multiple State and National titles across Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship and Trail. Hobbs is also the only Appaloosa in Australia by the remarkable CP Surely The Best, making him a truly special part of our breeding program.
After finishing up his breeding season duties, Hobbs has only been back in work since mid-January and is already back doing what he does best.
We are incredibly proud of the legacy he is building. Hobbs now has three years of progeny on the ground, with yearlings, two-year-olds and a three-year-old representing him at this 2026 Nationals.
Even better... five of his babies are here at the Australian Appaloosa National Show, across the Yearling, 2YO Led and 3yo performance & Amateur classes, and we couldn’t be prouder watching the next generation step into the ring.
