Learn to Skate Holiday Program - Wednesday 30th of September & Thursday 1st of October

Keep your kids active these school holidays with our Learn to Skate Holiday Program, where beginner skaters build confidence, coordination, and essential on‑ice skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Date: Wednesday 30th of September & Thursday 1st of October
Time:
· Off Ice 9:00am – 9:30am
· On Ice 9:45am – 11:45am
Age: 5 – 18
Level: Beginner to Aussie Skate Level 10

Includes:
-Professional coaching in small groups
-Skate hire
- Skill building activities
-Balance, coordination and confidence drills
-Fun on-ice games
-an introduction to Hockey and Figure Skating

What to bring
-Water
-Warm flexible clothing
-Gloves and thick socks
-Helmet (recommended for beginners)
-Skates (hire skates included)

Location: Olympic Ice-Skating Centre, 1080 Centre Road Oakleigh South

Cost: $95 per day or $180 for both days

Whether your player is returning to VJIHL or ready to experience league hockey for the first time, this is their chance to join a team, play every week, build confidence and take their game to the next level.

Term 3 Skate School commences tomorrow, Monday 13th of July

Weekday Skate School Classes (Mon, Wed & Fri)
3:30pm – 5:30pm
3:30–4:45pm: Freestyle / Warm-Up
4:45–5:30pm: Group Classes

Weekend Skate School (Saturday)
9:00am – 9:45am
Students are welcome to stay on for the public session from 9:45am – 11:45am for extra ice time and fun.

Adult Learn to Skate (Saturday)
7:30am – 8:45am
7:30am: Warm-up
7:45am – 8:45am: Lesson

Term Passes
You can now enrol in our 10‑week term with several pass options designed to suit your training needs. Flexible drop‑in classes remain available, giving skaters the freedom to attend whenever it works for them.

Skate School clip cards provide entry to all Skate School sessions and Adult Learn to Skate classes.

Development Camp - Thursday 2nd of July and Friday 3rd of July

Join us for two days of intensive training. This camp will include off‑ice training, spins, jumps, field moves, drills, along with dance at Deanne Fordham School of Dance to support and enhance

your on‑ice performance.

Dates: Thursday 2nd of July and Friday 3rd of July

Time: 8:30am – 9:30am - Off Ice

9:45am – 11:45am - On Ice

12:45pm – 1:45pm - Day 1 Ballet / Day 2 Lyrical Dance

Location: Olympic Ice-Skating Centre

Price: $165.00 for both or $95 for one day ($110 drop in)

Level: Free Skate 1 – Elementary

What to bring: Water and a packed lunch
