What a special day at Oakbank. 💚

We feel incredibly lucky to have been chosen as a stop on the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour and to have had the opportunity to welcome one of Australian sport’s most iconic trophies to our little part of the world.

We were also incredibly fortunate to have 2025 Melbourne Cup-winning trainer Tony McEvoy join us, sharing what it’s really like to train a winner of the race that stops the nation and giving our community a special insight into that unforgettable experience.

But yesterday was about so much more than the Cup itself. It was about sharing this special moment with the local community we love so much. Seeing families, racing fans and locals come together to experience the magic of the Melbourne Cup right here at Oakbank made it a day we won’t forget. 🏆
