An update on the summer ahead for DWSP & Western Sydney Speedway

A new working relationship has been established between DWSP & WSS. Grateful for their positivity and commitment towards Speedway bikes, we are now in full event planning mode which is exciting.

We have 4 scheduled events lined up starting with
QLD vs NSW - October 17th
NSW Solo Tiitle - December 5th
Australian Solo championship Round 4 (Final round)- January 9th
Darcy Ward Invitational - February 6th

Looking forward to bringing these events to WSS.

🏁 RACE DAY INFO | NSW Speedway Solo Super Series 🏁

We're set for a huge day of racing tomorrow and the track is looking absolutely mint! We can't wait to see the boys rip in🔥

⏰ Schedule
• Gates open: 8:00am (spectators 9am)
• Sign on: 8:30am
• Riders briefing: 9:30am
• Practice: 10:00am

🏕️ Pit Bays
Senior Teams - Pit bays are marked out at the track end of the pits, one bay per team - sized to accommodate up to 4 tents per team.

4️⃣ Experience

125cc and 500cc support at the container end of the pit area.

🏆 Race Format
4 Teams Tournamant - 20 heats, Joker Card in play
125cc Class - 14 heats, B Final, Silver Helmet Final
500cc B Grade -14 heats, Winner receives the Perpetual Trophy

🦺 Race Vests
Race vests will be supplied for:
Teams - Team managers supply rider vests
125cc - Super Series supplied vest
500cc support - Super Series supplied vest

📖 Programs
• One program will be available for each rider at sign on.
• Additional programs will be available from the canteen for spectators.
• A large-format race program will be displayed outside the sign on shed.

🎁 125cc Riders
Thanks to the Nepean Prowlers, each 125cc rider will receive a club sticker. These will be handed out at sign on.

🚨 Tyre Rule
A one tyre rule will be in place for the event. If a tyre deteriorates, the referee may approve a replacement at their discretion.

🏅 Presentations
Presentations will take place in the pits immediately after racing concludes.

Saturday Night Slides - The Bike Track under lights😁

Saturday May 23rd, join us at The Bowl Bike track for a great evening of 2,3 & 4 wheel action.

On the night you will see Speedway Solo's, & dirt bikes under the watchful eye of Jason Crump, Darcy Ward & Craig Boyce, as riders learn how to tackle our Costa Mesa Speedway replica.

They won't be racing but they will be giving it 110%, with teenage superstar Viv Muddle Racing #217 already locked in.

The POWRi Racing Australia Speedway karts will tackle The Plumber Kartstars Championship, along with our always popular MPE Repairs Agricultural & Access Specialists Junior Karts.

The NSW Outlaw Karts join the fun for round for of their club Championship, presented by CSR Fabrications, & Outlaw Kit Out.

Last but not least the Racing Mowers will make their long awaited return to The Bowl as they join us for some spirited "demonstrations". These things are INSANE!!!

❗️How to make a submission to the Moreton Motorsport Park Ministerial infrastructure Designation Application❗️

❓What is a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation Application❓

🔹Because the proposed Moreton Motorsport Park is considered to be ‘community supporting infrastructure’ as it is a sporting facility, the proposal is able to be considered as a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation, or MID.

🔹The MID process provides an alternative process for lodging a development application with Local Government. The process is managed by the State Government (Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning) with input from other government agencies. Ultimately, the planning minister is responsible for making MID decisions.

🔹As part of the MID process, the MMP team has undertaken comprehensive surveys, modelling and reporting in relation to potential impacts, including noise, environmental and traffic. The team has also undertaken a detailed analysis into the community and economic need for the facility and the benefits which will flow from it. This information is provided on the MID portal for review, during the public consultation process.
