$10,000 TO WIN – NSW SPRINTCAR SERIES OPENING ROUND!

The 2026/2027 NSW Sprintcar Series is set to launch in a massive way, with $10,000 TO WIN on the line at Southern Engines Nowra Speedway on Saturday, October 3rd!

There will be no easing into the new season.
From the very first green flag, the pressure will be on as some of the best Sprintcar teams and drivers in NSW and the country battle it out for a huge payday and the chance to become the first winner of the 2026/27 season with the NSW Sprintcar Series.
With $10,000 waiting for the winner, valuable championship points up for grabs and an entire season ahead, the Opening Round is shaping up as a huge night of Sprintcar racing on the South Coast.

Southern Engines Nowra Speedway is taking its support of SANSW, the NSW Sprintcar Series and the teams to another level in 2026/27, significantly increasing its commitment to Sprintcar racing this season. The venue has well and truly upped the ante, throwing its support behind the Series and helping deliver major events that give teams, drivers and fans even more reason to get behind Sprintcar racing in New South Wales. With the Opening Round carrying $10,000 to win, Nowra Speedway is making a strong statement about the level it wants to help take the sport to this season and the role it wants to play in the continued growth of SANSW and the NSW Sprintcar Series. And this is only the beginning, with the Opening Round the first of three major Sprintcar events scheduled for Nowra Speedway in 2026/27.

The NSW Sprintcar Series is continuing to raise the bar in 2026/27, and October 3 at Nowra Speedway is where it all begins.

Time for a shed clean-out? Book your spot at the Nowra Speedway Swap Meet!

STALLHOLDERS
• Bookings are essential
• Entry via Raceway Lane
• Standard site – $30 (car/van with or without box trailer)
• Large sites – price negotiable
• No covered or powered sites
• No marquees or tables available for hire
• Set up Saturday 2pm–5pm with overnight camping available, or from 5am Sunday
• Clean amenities available – no showers

Hot food & drinks available from the canteen.

No food or drink stallholders please.

Attention All Nowra Speedway Members

Our next club meeting will be held on Saturday the 5th September at the track commencing at 9am followed by a working bee.

BBQ lunch will be supplied. Please notify us if you will be attending.
