RESERVE GRADE GRAND FINAL 🐼🏆

ONE. LAST. GAME.

Our Men’s Reserve Grade have made it to the 2026 Premier League Reserve Grade Grand Final.

After finishing the regular season in 4th, the boys knew they had to take the long way through finals. Two games stood between Northies and a place in the Grand Final.

They’ve won both.

Now, there’s just one game left.

Northies take on Demon Knights in the Grand Final this Saturday at Scully Park, with kick-off at 12:30 PM.

After everything the boys have put into this season, it all comes down to 90 minutes.

We want a big Northies turnout at Scully. Get down, get behind the boys and help create the atmosphere they deserve for the biggest game of their season.

The canteen at Scully Park will also be open.

Now that the 2026 season is over, our field renovations are officially in full swing. We are incredibly lucky to have the backing of amazing local partners to help us upgrade our facilities.

WE’RE THROUGH TO THE GRAND FINAL 🐼⚽

Our Men’s Reserve Grade are through to the 2026 Premier League Reserve Grade Grand Final after a 3-1 win over the Moore Creek Mountain Goats.

Northies started fast, with Mick McGufficke firing home an early volley before Steve Holland doubled the lead with a tap-in after a Jake Thompson header caused chaos in the box.

The second half started slowly, with Moore Creek winning and converting a penalty to bring the game back to 2-1.

A chaotic Jonah Thompson corner then found its way onto a Goats player and into the back of their own net to restore our two-goal lead.

From there, the boys saw out the game confidently to book their place in the Grand Final.

A great result and another strong step forward as we build towards the biggest game of the season.

NORTHIES LEAD AT THE BREAK 🐼⚽

It’s half-time here at Gipps St GA5, with Northies leading Moore Creek FC 2-0.

An early volley from Mick McGufficke in the 4th minute almost broke the net and gave us the perfect start, before a Jack Todd finish was ruled out for offside.

Steve Holland then doubled our lead with a tap-in after a Jake Thompson header attempt caused a scramble in the box.

Let’s keep it going in the second half.

It’s a massive day of finals football today, with four Northies teams taking the field across our juniors and seniors!

First up, our U13 Black take on OVA Victory in their Grand Final at Gipps St GA6, with kick-off at 10:30 AM.
