You’ve seen plenty of my bodyweight core workouts, but that’s not the only way I train.
These landmine core exercises are part of how I build strength, control and power through rotation.
The setup can take a little adjusting, but once you find the right position, your core will be on fire 🔥

And if you want to follow the person behind it all, including my travels, life changes and everything I’m building next, follow Troy Van Spanje.
What if the “perfect” push-up doesn’t exist? ❌
The truth is, small changes in your hand position, elbow angle and shoulder blade movement can completely change the exercise and which muscles do the most work.
But regardless of the variation, there’s one rule to remember:
⚠️ Don’t take every set to complete failure.
As fatigue builds, your technique starts to break down.
Your lower back arches, your chin drops toward your chest, your shoulder blades lose control and your elbows begin to flare.
You might squeeze out a few extra reps, but you’re no longer reinforcing the movement you intended to train.
If this happens every workout, your body gets better at repeating those compensations. Over time, this can create poor movement patterns and hold you back as you progress to more advanced exercises.
End the set when you can no longer maintain control.
Clean reps over forced reps. Every time. âś…

Healthy hips aren’t just about flexibility.
You need to train your hip flexors and extensors, internal and external rotation, and build real stability through the joint.
Whether you sit for long periods, deal with a stiff lower back, or want to move better in training, these simple movements can help.
Complete 10–20 reps of each exercise daily and stay consistent.

People always ask how many rounds…
Do 3 rounds of this and tell me your core isn’t on fire:
Knee crunches
Lying leg raises
Toe touches
Starfish crunch
Side-to-side plank
Elbow to push-up
Run it Tabata style.
Short, sharp, no wasted time.
Most people overcomplicate core training, but if you actually push intensity on simple movements like this, you can build strength, control and definition without spending hours training.
Focus on control, not speed.
Quality reps over rushing.
