What a way to wrap up the season!
Last weekend our U5–U11 Panthers came together for our end-of-season Gala Day and presentations — a morning full of football, fun, teammates, families and plenty of Panther pride. 💙
There were goals, laughs, a few tired legs and plenty of proud Panthers collecting their end-of-season awards! 🏅🐾
From our littlest U5s finishing their very first season, through to our U11s, it was a great chance to celebrate how much our players have grown, the friendships they’ve made and everything they’ve achieved throughout the year.
A huge thank you to all of our coaches, managers and volunteers who have given their time week after week, and to our Panther families for supporting the kids from the sidelines all season. Our club simply wouldn’t be what it is without you. 👏
Most importantly, congratulations to all of our young Panthers! We hope you’ve had a season filled with fun, new skills, great memories and a love of football that keeps growing. ⚽️

🥾⚽️ GOT OLD FOOTBALL BOOTS? BRING THEM THIS SATURDAY! 🌏💙
Heading to our U5–U11 Gala & Presentation Day this Saturday? We’d love your old boots too!
Ryde Panthers is collecting pre-loved football boots in good, wearable condition to donate to a youth sports program in Tonga, supporting young people to get involved in soccer and other sports.
If your kids have outgrown boots that still have plenty of life left in them, please bring them along on Saturday and donate them. 🙌
We’re also collecting any suitable football jerseys or sporting gear that could be put to good use.
A simple clean-out of the cupboard could help another young player get on the field. ⚽️💙
Donations will support the work of Ngele’ia Warlord Academy and their youth programs in Tonga.
🐾 Bring your donations along to Gala Day this Saturday, 29 August.

🐾 U5–U11 GALA & PRESENTATION DAY – THIS SATURDAY! ⚽️🏆
It’s our final big day for our MiniRoos this Saturday, 29 August, with Gala Day, presentations and team kit return all happening at ELS Hall!
A few important reminders:
⚽ Gala games from 8:30am – please stick to your team’s scheduled times.
👕 No Panthers playing shirts – teams can choose their own colour or theme for the day.
🌭 Free sausage sizzle + drink for every player – team tokens will be available on the day.
🏆 Presentations will take place after your team’s final game – head straight to the presentation tent.
🎒 Kit bag return: 9am–2pm – all shirts and bibs need to be washed, folded and returned together as a team.
📸 Team photos that haven’t been collected will be available from the canteen.
And of course… it takes a village! 💙🖤
Coaches and Managers, please check your emails for your game times, field set-up/pack-down and canteen/field rosters.
The canteen and BBQ will be running all day, so come along and enjoy one last MiniRoos day together for Season 2026!
