With Round 13 done and dusted, there’s just ONE regular season game left before finals! It’s hard to believe we’re already this close to the end of the season 💙💚

This week’s Community Spotlight is shining on Jasmine Leghorn! 💚💙
Jasmine is a member of our 14/1 team and proudly represented HDNA in the 14’s State Titles team this season. 🏐
She’s also taken on umpiring for the first time this year… and she is absolutely smashing it! On the weekend, Jasmine umpired one of our Carlingford teams at the Baulkham Hills Gala Day, and we received nothing but positive feedback about her umpiring. What an incredible achievement in her very first year with the whistle! 🤍
We’re so proud to see Jasmine getting involved in so many areas of our netball community and representing Carlingford so brilliantly both as a player and an umpire. Keep up the amazing work, Jasmine! 🌟

🔒 Tie It Right, Safety Starts at Your Feet 🔒
Did you know that you're meant to lock your laces before playing netball? A small change to the way you tie your netball shoes can make a big difference on court.
Using a heel-lock lacing technique helps to:
👟 Reduce heel slipping inside your shoe
🏃🏼♀️ Improve stability during quick changes of direction
🦶🏻 Minimise rubbing and blisters
💪🏻 Give you a more secure fit for jumping, landing and pivoting
⚡️ Help reduce unnecessary movement that can contribute to ankle injuries
Your shoes are one of the most important pieces of equipment you wear. Make sure they're working with you, not against you.
Before your next game, take an extra 30 seconds to tie your laces properly. Your feet (and ankles!) will thank you 💙💚
