🌟 YEAR 11/12 DEMON GIRLS — WHAT A SEASON! 🌟

After an amazing 16-game run without a single bye or forfeit, they have earned their place as the only Cardinals-aligned team to finish inside the top two and qualify for a finals campaign — an achievement they should be incredibly proud of.

And what makes it even more special is knowing just how much these young women are juggling. Between casual jobs, ATAR studies, other sporting commitments, family, friendships and everything else life throws at them, they have continued to show up, support each other and give everything they have to their team.

We couldn't be more proud of this group. Proud of the way they have competed. Proud of the way they have supported one another. Proud of the resilience they've shown when things have been tough. And proud of the young women they are becoming.

They have had an absolutely amazing season, and every single one of them should take a moment to recognise what they've achieved.

💙🏉 THE WEEKEND THAT WAS…ROUND 15 🏉💙

What a way to finish up Auskick for 2026! 🎉

Our final week was packed with smiles, footy and plenty of special moments. The Class of 2026 ran through their very own banner, and we wrapped up the season by handing out all of our Auskick medals! 🏅👏

A huge congratulations to all our Auskickers, what a fantastic season you’ve had! We hope everyone had an absolute blast!

And there was plenty happening on the field too…

🔵 YEAR 9 BOYS
What a battle! The boys fought right to the end in an incredibly hard-fought game, only going down in the final three minutes. They left everything out there and went out in true Cardies fashion — with plenty of fight and never giving up! 💪💙

🔴 DEMONS GIRLS
A tough one for the girls, going down in their game, but there’s still one more game to go! We’ll be cheering you on all the way — good luck for the final one! ❤️

🔴🔵 DEMONS BOYS
A Demons-on-Demons battle as the boys faced off against each other! Always a tough one when your teammates become your opposition. Both teams pushed and played their best and we are so proud of them!

From our youngest Auskickers to our older teams, it was another big weekend for the Cardies family. 💙

⭐⭐ A huge Cardies thank you to Grace ⭐⭐
Our university intern, who has been volunteering with the Club over the past few months as part of her university studies.

Grace has been a fantastic help behind the scenes this season, taking responsibility for a number of important Cardies projects.

📸 Team Photos – Grace coordinated our new team photo process this year, which was a huge success and, most importantly, a big hit with the kids!

🥂 Cardies Social Night – Grace also played a major role in organising Friday night’s Cardies Social Night at The Oxford, with more than 120 members of the Cardies family coming together for a great night.

We’re incredibly grateful for the time, energy and commitment Grace has given to the Cardies. We wish her all the best as she finishes her studies this year and her exciting new job working with the West Coast Eagles (congrats - must've been the Cardies work that got her over the line!!).

Thanks Grace – you’ve made a real contribution to the Cardies this season! 👏❤️💙

Round 14 - The Weekend That Was 🏉

The last of the MODs footy was played out this weekend with a few great derby clashes helping close out the season. Every team took to the field for their final kick of the footy this round and gave it absolutely everything.

A huge milestone for our Cardies family too, with 50 games played this year by Quinn, Raph, Josh, Liam and Linc in the Year 6 Cardies team, and 50 games for Sam, our only Year 7 player running out with the Year 8s. What an achievement! 👏

Win or lose, the Cardies continue to show why this is a club like no other, grit, determination, passion and plenty of heart. Every player, coach, volunteer and supporter should be incredibly proud of what has been achieved this season.

Well done to ALL our teams. Now it’s time to enjoy the team wind-ups this week and celebrate everything our players have accomplished!
