Few weeks ago I had the opportunity to participate in an interview with the Issy and Emily Project !!!! These amazing girls are finding their way after finishing school and are building knowledge, skills, inspiration and experience by 'Getting to Know' people who are making a difference in their community. And just like that, today marks three years of my very first class as a Zumba Instructor. I remember that day as if it was yesterday; the nerves, the songs of that first playlist, the anticipation. I also remember how lucky I felt that this was happening at Fernwood, a place I joined as a member when I was at my lowest physically and mentally, and where I got the inspiration to become and Zumba Instructor and make a positive impact on other women’s lives.

Today, after three years, that purpose remains the same, and I trust that with every class, every song, every dance, every smile, every hug, every friend you have made, and all the laughs we have had together, you feel that our Zumba dance floor is one of your happy places. I know I do.

So no matter where or when you have met me in this journey, if you are an OG, a regular, a casual or a very new participant at Fernwood or my Healthy and Active Community classes, THANK YOU for being a part of my world.

PS: Our 3rd Zumbaversary Party is in planning mode at the moment, and I will keep you posted about it, so we can celebrate together this new milestone!!!

What an incredible first day back for our Zumba Community Class with the Healthy and Active Program 🤩🤩🤩.

Thank you to all of you who showed up today, regulars and newbies, you were all A M A Z I N G!!!! Loved the energy in the room, you were smiling, laughing, and moving your bodies with such grace... you were also really LOUD 😂💃😂💃 and I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed that!!!

I threw quite a few new songs in our playlist. I hope you enjoyed dancing to them as much as I enjoyed sharing them with you.

Cannot wait to see you all next week, same place and time (8:45am) and do it all again.
