We set out with one goal for the NSLSportsOfficial Nations Cup 2026:
to finish on the podium

The road to get here wasn’t without its setbacks, but this group never lost sight of what we were trying to achieve. Every player and staff member committed to the team, backed each other, and put the team’s success ahead of individual recognition.

The result speaks for itself:

This medal represents more than a finish on the leaderboard. It represents resilience, trust, respect, hard work, and a team that genuinely enjoyed competing alongside one another.

There’s something special about representing your country.

This tournament has been about more than results. It’s been about trust, respect, hard work and the camaraderie that’s brought this group together. Every player and staff member has played their part, and that unity has shown both on and off the field.

No Australian team has ever progressed this far at an NSL Nations Cup, and today .nsl heads into the finals sitting in 3rd place.

Australia (3rd) vs Poland (6th)

A win sends us into the semi-finals.

Win that, and we’re playing for Gold or Silver.

If not, we’ll still have the chance to fight for a place on the podium in the Bronze Medal Match.

Whatever happens today, this team has already made history by taking Australia further than ever before.
