🏆 2026 PRESENTATION NIGHT 🏆

What a wonderful night celebrating an incredible 2026 season 💙💛

A huge congratulations to every single player recognised last night across all our football and netball grades. Your hard work, dedication, and effort are what drive our club forward.

And some deserve an extra special shout out! A massive, well-deserved congratulations to our Vice President & Netball President, Edwina Wilkens, on taking home the prestigious Clubperson of the Year award for the second year in a row! ✨

Back-to-back is no mean feat. Since arriving at Windsor Park, Ed has done a mountain of work to slowly chip away at returning our Netball section to full strength. This season, she stepped up even further - taking on several major projects behind the scenes as part of our Executive Committee, picking up coaching duties for B Grade at times, and managing the entire netball section with diligence, kindness, and a warm smile - even when the grind got bloody tough.

Thank you for everything you do for the club, Ed, we would truly be lost without you! 🫶🏼

THANK YOU MARK 💙💛

After acknowledging his contributions at Presentation Night last night, we want to take a moment to formally thank Mark Hounslow for his years as Senior Coach.

Mark joined our Football Department at a time when our club needed someone to step up and lead.

He did that - and then some.

While the wins may not have come, Mark did an amazing job at leading a club on its knees. He created a positive and fun culture, and a togetherness between netball and football that had an impact more than words can describe.

Mark committed to the club in an incredibly difficult time, backed our Senior Football playing group and, most importantly, kept our players together when most would’ve walked away.

Mark gave a lot of his time and energy to North Shore, and there is no question that his contribution has been an important part of our Club’s recent history.

Thank you, Mark, for the years of hard work you put in, the people you backed, and the part you played in improving our wider Club culture 💙💛

GFNL TEAM OF THE YEAR ⭐

Congratulations to our Senior Football Captain, Jacob Sammut-Miljevic, who was named at half-forward in the 2026 Blood Toyota GFNL Team of the Year last night! 👏

Sammo has had an outstanding season, and fresh off taking out our Club Best & Fairest, this league honour is impressive recognition for his dominant 2026 campaign.

Well done Sammo! 💙💛

More good news for the Seagals as some club legends - Madi Cleary, Jess Ivermee and Abbey Watt - re-commit to the blue and gold for 2027! 💙💛

Carrying three famous North Shore surnames, these midcourt maestros have been representing the club for over a decade. True leaders of our D Grade side, they bring steady heads, calm presences under pressure, and a brand of netball that is ageing like fine wine 🍷

We couldn’t be happier to have this trio locked in for our Centenary year... and word on the street is there might be a few more from this generation considering a comeback too 👀

More good news for our netball program as three of our versatile superstars - Mia Thompson, Tanika Fava & Mia Burge - officially commit to the blue and gold for 2027!

Speedy, smart, and crafty on court, this trio brings incredible versatility to our teams with their ability to dominate in both the midcourt and the goal circle. While all three faced injury setbacks throughout the 2026 season, their resilience, drive, and determination to come back stronger showed true character.

Outstanding teammates who bring fantastic energy to the club, these girls have huge futures ahead. We can’t wait to watch their games continue to elevate in our Centenary year! Bring on 2027 💙💛

🏆 LEAGUE BEST & FAIREST 🏆

Huge congratulations to our U18s captain, Oscar Denny, on winning the Under 18 Div 2 League Best & Fairest last night! 💙💛

Since making the move over from South Barwon this season, Oscar has been nothing short of exceptional every single time he’s pulled on the blue and gold. Leading from the front all year, he’s set the benchmark week in, week out - earning a handful of Senior appearances along the way. We can’t wait to see him become a full-time fixture in our Senior side next year!

A massive shoutout as well to Riley Cotter, who polled brilliantly to finish tied for 3rd place on 12 votes! 👏

What a fantastic recognition for both boys and a proud moment for the club.
