Central Coast Wheelchair Basketball Development

A massive shoutout and thank you to the team at Illawarra Wheelchair Basketball Development Team for donating these three sports chairs to our club! 🏀

​With a bit of a clean up, some fresh replacement parts, and routine maintenance, these chairs will be fully prepped and ready to roll out on the court for our players.

​As a brand-new association, community support means everything to us. If you would like to help us cover the maintenance, spare parts, and startup costs to get these chairs ready, any contribution would mean the world to us. ​Hey everyone, please note that there will be NO weekly session this Friday, 31st July.

​Take the night off, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on court next week on Friday, 7th August at our usual time! 🏀🔥

It's holiday time! 🥳

There will be no regular training for the next two weeks while school holidays are on. Enjoy the break and we will see you back on court on the 24th! 🏀

What a massive day of wheelchair basketball for the Central Coast Waves at the Waratah League Finals Saturday May 23..

​Semi-Final:
We started the day strong with a fantastic team performance against Blacktown Storm, taking the win 34 to 8 to secure our spot in the big finals.

​Grand Final:
The Grand Final against the Illawarra Hawks was an absolute thriller. It was a tough, physical battle right down to the final buzzer, with Illawarra just edging us out 27 to 24.

​While it is tough to miss out by just three points, we are incredibly proud of the determination, growth, and sportsmanship our team has shown all season. Finishing as runners-up in a tournament this competitive is a massive achievement.
