Next on the Prize Fight block is Adam!
Adam started the day playing his Scholars Prize in Broadsword (something that was long overdue), he finished it with a surprise.
Sometimes a student performs so well in their prize that the Provosts grading them decide that they are really fencing at the level above. Adam was absolutely smashing it and because of that he has passed his first of three prize fights to make up his Free Scholars rank.

We here at Stoccata Newtown spent this weekend gearing up for the start of term. Plenty of new toys being handed out, swords, Spears and axes (seen here getting hafts cut). Classes start 3pm next Saturday and for the first time ever we're doing viking sword and round shield!
We're back in full swing! With highland broadsword as the first hour. For the second hour we're doing something a bit different. Silver with a twist: you can do the lesson with broadsword, longsword or broadsword and companion weapon. You can see broadsword and alehouse dagger against broadsword and buckler in the video. Come join us next Saturday for more sword fun
